i don't know why people are so up about this front end.
those head lights are the most disgusting thing i have ever seen on an rx7.
there almost as bad as... well... when i think of something really horrid i'll tell you....
they just ruin the look of the entire car. i hate it when people put solid fixtures on a car designed and engineered with flip up head lights. it was made to have flip ups, and to look good with them, and i have yet to see a good solid head light fixture on anything from 86's to s13's to any rx7.
i wish that i could go back in time and stop the person who originally made those lights. someone who didn't realize the destruction he was dooming many good looking cars to.

i just couldn't help expressing my opinion. every time i see the solid head lights on an fc i almost cry.
but i guess really, it just has to do with the personal preferences of people. (like the person who wants to put dubs on his fc. *shudder*)
I just have a wierd kind of opinion on certain things that should and shouldn't be done to a car. (like, i hate 90% of the exterior mods on the need for speed games, and think they are hideous and should never have been made. yet, there are many people that really like that kind of stuff...... i guess i'll just have to live with it.... *sigh* )

For the life of me, I just don't get the need to "update" a 20+ year old design... If you want a new car, get a new car. I have my '88 RX-7 because I like old cars. What makes them appear out of date to some is what draws me to them in the first place. Not to mention that without pretty much scrapping the entire FC body, some element of it will still look like an 80s car no matter how hard you try. The wraparound taillights (even the supposedly more modern-looking S5s), the Porsche 928-esque clamshell doors, the blistered fenders, the non-flush side glass, and the gigantic rear hatch glass all scream 80s. And what's wrong with that?
I would no more want to graft a sleeker, 21st Century front end onto my FC than I would my father-in-law's 1937 Packard 120. Why???
(I realize that Mr. Neo Drift and myself are in a very small minority here, which I'm sure pleases RE-Amemiya a great deal. To each his/her own, I guess.)

it was with mine and well I am sorry if makes people mad that they are projector style headlight not pop up like rotorican85 said "to each their own" I personally like them they looks sweet and to top it off at least my FC with look different in the area I am in I have seen only a handful of FC's crusing around but not one with the FC2000 front end conversion
