so.... today i was taking the intake manifold off of my turbo II that i bought not too long ago, the guy who i bought the car from said the previous owner got the engine rebuilt at atkins rotary, and some crazy **** i see when i take off the lower intake. first i see that the injector for the rear rotor is a different color than the other ones, the guy who sold me the engine said that he sent out his cores and they sent him those reman injectors and that the colors didn;t matter, and that they were the same size. sometihng else that also got me confused was that the rear iron had been mildly proted on the face where the rotor sits, and the runner had just been polished, however, non of this was done to the front of the engine... please!!!! tell me why this may be so..... if it helps.... if imma have to open up the engine and port out the front iron too.... le tme know what you think...

 

send the injectors out to be tested/cleaned

 

you dont want to port the primary intake port. it will mess up idle.

 

no.... it's not the primary intake port on the center iron, it's the secondary port on the rear iron that's polished and a little ported

 

sounds like someone made a throw together motor from spare parts....
