8-27-09 is a sad day for me...but it looks way worse that it actually is.

6pm, raining, no traffic....me and a chevy tahoe were sitting at a red light, the light turned green, i proceeded through the intersection , the tahoe did the same, but wiath way to much throttle, she fish tailed through the intersection, and by the time i was through the intersection, the tahoe was headed for the side of my car.

the tahoe's passenger front corner bumper struck my driver side door, and 1/4 panel.

here is my FC's damage: 85% of the damage is the driver door, the door was pushed into the 1/4 panel, so the two are wedged together...gonna take some time to straighten that 1/4, but it wont be that bad. the last pic shows how much the door buckled near the roof....it doesn't seal anymore.




i asked the police to do something about the rapist
so they talked a little:


then they decided to bring her in, and impound the vehicle she was driving...NOBODY HITS MY CAR BITCH!


she is 100% at fault, she was issued a ticket for the accident, and was arrested for not having a drivers liscense. she was driving her boyfriends car, and the vehicle she was driving has insurance.

there was also a witness who saw everything, and told the cops the same story i told them.

Man, that super sucks to hear. i hope that whatever body shop you decide to go to fixes it correctly with minimal filler.


glad to hear you got justice too. a couple of years ago my friend got T-boned in his 93 MR2 turbo in an intersection by a Lincoln that blew the stop light. he pulled over and they just took off. Totalled his car out and nothing to show for it.

it will be repaired by a quality bodyshop, it has to look just like it did before it was in the accident, or i wont take the car back.

i have done bodywork for about 6 years in the past, and my dad used to do bodywork for about 20 years ...im not going to fix this one myself, it has to be perfect!

 

 

God damn, that sucks ***. It's always some retard in an SUV . I hope the repairs work out well.

Epic win on the bitch getting taken in though. That pic is so satisfying. I'm so tired of hearing stories of FCs getting hit and the other driver gets off scot-free.

what a shame..... an almost perfect rx7 with low low millage is tainted with damage... =[.. sad to know that happned... i know how it feels it happened to my 91 DA.. it was clean.. got hit by a drunk driver hit and run in a parking garage.... damn bastard struck the passanger rear wheel and 1/4 panel.... it got repaired and fixed, looks the same as before but doesnt drive or feel the same ='(

She's just another moron off the road for a little bit, but unfortunately she's probably already driving again.

Begin Rant: Some people just don't understand that driving requires 100% of their concentration/attention. They talk/text/put on make-up/eat/read/watch tv/twitter/breast feed and whatever else while they're driving 15 mph under/over the speed limit, but when they see a yellow light they race to beat it, red requires even more speed. (I almost stepped into the path of someone running a read light. Would have been dead. Me.) They drive though neighborhoods at 35-45 mph but they put beware of children or slow signs out front of their house. They bitch about teens racing and **** but these 'racers' are concentrating and giving their driving their full attention.(sometimes their skills are lacking which is deadly, seen it first hand, not good) These people don't know how to parellel park, they don't know how to use turn signals, they don't check if their vehicle has working lights, they don't check tire pressure, the don't know **** about the car they drive or what kind of manuvers or abilities their vehicle is capable of.(good to know when evasive manuvers are attempted) THESE PEOPLE SHOULD NEVER HAVE BEEN ISSUED A DRIVERS LICENSE.
I think people should have to endure a driving test. Not just driving around the block, changing lanes, backing out of a parking space, and using turn signals, but a real test! One which includes cones on a track, and children and animals that pop out behind cars parked on the sides of the street, show they can merge onto a freeway, parallel parking is good too, mantaining speed, following traffic control signs/lights. A REAL TEST! If you hit anything: FAIL! If you score less than 90: FAIL. If you go too slow: FAIL If you go too fast: FAIL
You get as many tries as you want but it costs you. All done in your own vehicle.

Also, Police should be pulling people over for lights out and any obvious offenses and vehicles with problems.(I see cars every day that have lights out, I especially HATE it when the guy in front of me has no brake lights, f'ing dangerous)

And If there's a f'ing car broke down in the intersection, get that f'er out of the road! The Police just turn on their lights and wait for the tow truck while traffic backs up for miles. When 2 guys could push it to the side of the road.

Think about this, It could have been worse! Just the other day i saw a car get RAPED cuz he ran a stop sign, and a tahoe rammed it cuz it was a 2way, then the car that ran the stop crashed into a house, and the tahoe went striaght into a tree ! now that sucks...

technically this aint really a crash story but my brother had a nice clean 87 rx7 that he couldnt get to run(he later found out he forgot to plug a wire in) he had to move it because of the town ship(**** them) so he movied it to a friends house. Friend is a retard and put crackers and cigarette butts into the intake and completely destroyed the engine. Brother tears engine apart and finds out it was completely rebuilt with brand new parts.

 

I used to go drifting in the hills all the time while it was pouring down rain with no license. HUGE double no no, landed me a 6 month jail sentence.
