Some how my thread was deleted.

I went to the tattoo shop to a rotor and housing tattooed on my arm. They say it's too much detail and don't want to do it.
So i wanna see how you guys show your favorite power plant. So show me your rotary tatts!

What is that reason? there is no general discussion anymore.

I guess you could argue this is a technical question, to the extent that the OP is looking for a design for a simple rotary tattoo that his local shop would be willing to do for him.

Probably would have better luck in the lounge though, or at least the "Non-technical and Pictures" sub-forum.

I guess I should have mentioned that I have done some searching. Google image turned up some cool ones. I've seen those threads, i was hoping to spark some images.

 

I want a rotor on my arm or side. Only tattoo I'd ever consider getting.

Something simple would be like the atkins logo. But if your tattoo artist cant do what you want, he is not the right tattoo artist for you. It's there for life man. Choose your design and artist wisely.

That was just one cross section I showed him. I had 6 pictures in my phone, this one was the first in the list.
Yeah, I started thinking along those lines after that last post. But he really does nice work. He just doesn't know what a rotor is/ looks like, and he doesn't feel comfortable making all those circles as small as they would have to be on my arm.
As for the Atkins logo. Are you talking about the rotor with the piston crossed out?
