Car is fresh man. Looks like you guys had a chill day just installing them. Those are the kind of days that make being a car enthusiast fun.

Wow, so they came with the rear upper mounts? Are they rubber bushed or spherical bearing? You don't have any other pictures of them do you, maybe even from the top inside the car?

I've left my trim out for a while until I finalize my suspension setup and get my roll bar situated. I've had to take that **** out twice now and don't want to do it again!

Also, random question: you weren't by chance in up north in Santa Maria, CA recently, were you? Saw a glimpse of a clean S5 vert that I've never seen before, but I was going the opposite way.

Your car is stunning, and looks even better now dropped.

What are the specs on your wheels and tires? Great fit!

the specs on my wheels are 18x10 +24 in the rear on some 245/40 feddy's for the fronts there 17x8.5 +35 on some 215/45 feddy's, all with in stock fenders, with a little roll on the rear.

17x8.5 in the front, with +35 offset in the front? I'm surprised that fits with coilovers. How much clearance do you have to the coilover?

Thanks for checking for pics for me.

Haha that's crazy coincidence, because I actually found the vert I had seen before. There is apparently a local up here who has a super clean S5 vert with only an exhaust and personalized plate.

Dang, didn't know there were so many black verts in the 805!

to be fair, he's done coilover swaps before, I've never done them. Yea, but basically, i was working on driver side, while he cranked out the passenger side. Wam bam thank you ma'am. Done quickly.

My Kyb's also had to be grinded down to get the GC sleeve over for my front struts... that alone took 30 min, removing the wheels and struts all together was about 45 min. Getting to the rear top mounts was the hardest part, 1 hour! (sadly enough). The verts top mounts are covered by a 3 spare wheel cover, the spare wheel itself and two extra covers that are connected to the door trim which was a bitch... Juiceh can vouch for me on this.

total 3 hours... fastest i think i could have done it would prolly be an hour, but a half *** job...

Word, its not a simple coilover swap on a coupe. I went with the kyb agx and gc setup for my vert also few months ago. We did it right after we finished getting my tranny back in just two of us. Took us probably 4 hours. Lots of grinding to do to make **** fit. But well worth it.

That's fairly low in the front. Are you using camber plates or racing beat "lowering strut tops" on the fronts? One of the problems with ground controls on the front of the FC, typically to get anywhere close to what yours are you need lowered strut tops along with 6 inch front springs and the collar all the way down on the sleeve.

i have nothing of that sort... i was going to purchase the GC camber plates that came with it... the spring that they gave me was short as it is. I had to place the spring perch all the way down to get that ride height. Right now its riding about -1 camber. I was surprised to see it get that low in the front.
