Very subtle painting of the lower bumpers. I've never seen that before but its pretty cool.
the paint you're seeing is some sort of rock guard. i do not know if it was maybe applied by the dealer as an option or something one of the PO's might have done.

as for the mazdatrix brace, not for sale, ever. i spent quite some time trying to find one of these, even resorted to calling mazdatrix and asking them to please please please make me one more. (since they discontinued them about a year ago) i eventually found another user here who had one and i ******* jumped on it. needs to be power-coated though, has some chips in it.

here are some more recent pics i took today...

i know the black hood is kinda ricey. it was the only aluminum hood i could find in the area and it was white when i got it. so i decided to fix some bodywork in the spoiler, some chips in the mirrors, and tape of the wheels and paint them all to match.

I had an ebay short shifter, used it for over a year. Aside for transmitting some noise, it worked quite well.

Thanks! Its a stock shifter with a rethreaded nismo ****. The **** just sits alot lower than stock so no need for a short shifter.

^ I did the same thing.... I just machined a new shaft and threaded it to accept the original S4 shift ****... feels so much better and feels like a short shifter even though the throw is the same.
