S4 front lip fitment
So I've decided to modify the s5 lip for my s4. I was wondering if anybody has run into this kind of problem. The close up picture is the lip held to the bumper and not fastened, it sticks out past the fenders about 3/4" on each side. The other view is after forcing it in to fit which causes Rippling. The vendor is saying that it is because it isn't made to fit an s4 even though the fenders r identical. He says no body has ever had this problem and he sells about one per week. I would really like everyone's opinion. The lip is also about 3/4" thinner in the front than the sides, is this normal?

No, there's not enough flex to the fender to match up.
Ya I thought that was quite the volume numbers for fc's.
It's just sad that he's trying to tell me that it doesn't fit the fenders because it's not made for an s4, especially considering that the corksport lip I have fits flawlessly.

I made a lip that fit both s4 and s5.
on some cars you had to bring the lip in in the same place your photo shows. What I did was put a slit in the top where you cant see it, this slit could be made wider and by doing so allowed you to pull the lip in without putting any force on it. I always suggested that last attachment point be a nut and bolt

Ya I'm aware that the after market takes a little massaging to make just right. I've had a variety from ae86 to g35. 1.5" too wide is a little much for a respectable company. But it's all good.

Cmon buddy, your complaining about the most minimal things! Going off your pics alone, the fitment is pretty close. With the help of this forum, maybe a heat gun, and five minutes of your time, you can have that lip fitting perfect. I've had aero pieces from re amemiya, knockoff gp sports, and even shineauto. All of them need a tiny bit of work to get them perfect. You're overreacting.
