Even if this was made in Japan or maybe Austrilia or London, then Someone here in the good ole US OF A surely talented enough could make a knockoff. So someone get started on it. AEROWORKS ??? You'll have a line of customers.....

Thanks Hypertek, that answers the origin of the picture, but that doesn't change a thing. I still refer to my previous post statement.

like just about every other cf part maybe fore the fc it would most likely fail. too much to produce making the price way too and us tightwad fc owners would drool, but never throw down the dough for one:/

I'm no businessman, but ,you would think , if someone was creative and talented enough to create a knockoff, he would try a feeeler first , by asking for a group buy. Therefore, Supply and Demand, you only make enough for the consumers that are commited to buy.

If they made one they probably made 2 or 3 at the same time. That's what I would have done.

Yea that's how alot of people do it for difusers and junk but in a little japanese shop, im sure making only one would be possible.

Granted it might be custom made ,or 1 of a kind, but that applies when its a unique shape or style ,,, Were talking about a dashboard, that should be easily duplicated by any experienced fiberglass specialist, then as for the Carbonfiber , that would be the next step.

I would buy this, but not for the cf look, just the lightness. Id wrap it in leather.

It wouldn't be too hard to produce. Just need a mold of the dash or a a spare dash to lay it over. Not too sure about the carbon fiber part, but nothing a little research on the interwebz cant help.

George I made ur dash over a year ago, at least the fiberglass part to make the shape and could never get in touch with you about the door panel parts the stick out past ur doors. I couldnt do anything else with so now I have a ghetto carbon fiber fiberglass shell to make a plug from.

I wonder if I made a custom dash and let someone else make a mold of it what it would be like

cool. For some reason your number didn't want to work and I never got any emails back so I just gave up. My cover was the one on the right. Jesus that was a long time ago. I still have that mold, just never the vacuum back stuff to do it the way I wanted.

I honestly do not think the glare from a CF dash would be cool though on the windshield.

^Couldn't you spray a layer of flattening agent to reduce glare on the cover?

I'm sure that can be done ,but, it defeats the polished Carbonfiber looks that most buy them for. However, it could be easily done on colors, Or you can glue on fabric material or leather of your liking.

Was this your project Dltreezan ? Looks like even the door panels on this project were to be fiberglassed ?

the dash is made by Foresight

available in carbon or FRP

http://www.foresight-style.com/パーツリスト/fc-frpダッシュボード/

Genuine ratio approximately half weight (approximately 4 kilometers) it is the lightweight FRP dashboard. Not to use the genuine bone, because they are 1 piece structures, installation it is possible that way. The center panel is removal and re-installation system. Genuine meter and the cover installation is possible that way. Like the picture the warning light [gurobubotsukusu] blower effusion mouth and the like being done, the smoothing it increases. In lightweight maniac! * The picture is carbon type. FRP becomes the black gel.
