Exclamation "On the Road to Rotary Heaven"

Hey whats up everyone and thank you for looking at this thread. I started this car up a year ago but for some miss hap it got stolen with my rew engine so i have to start all over so i decided to log my progress now and see how long it will take me this time to build it up. Here are some pics of it when i first received the car :

It was a stocked 1989 Rx-7 automatic white exterior, blue interior. from one year i bought new rims, the tII hood, fog lights, front lights, tinted windows and the REW engine. I do still have the money that i was saving up to repaint the car but since the engine was stolen, i have to use that money now to buy a new engine. Here are some pics of what the car looks like now:

My plan for this car is to make it an exotic luxury vehicle lets see how that turns out lol.

Arrow Update

UPDATE: Ok, as of right now shopping around to see how much i can get an engine for the car. Went to some shops today but no luck. Checking the forum atm to see what i can come up. Dont know if i want to go back with the REW again since it did get stolen, but if it comes down to it i think ill just do the 20B. Just shopping around for a regular S5 TII. Crossing fingers to see if i find something.

Arrow Update

UPDATE: Couldn't find an Engine that i wanted so for right now im just going to put my 13B automatic engine that i still have for some strange reason. Went inside my garage and found it and i was like WTF i still have this peace of $&!#. Will still be looking for some good engine for this car so i guess im going to have to save up for the time being. Decided that im going to just go with body kit, paint, and some add-ons for the time being.

These are some parts i am looking into on getting:

RE-Amemiya Style Rear Diffuser
• 86-91 Mazda Rx7 (FC3S) Spec-RE Rear Diffuser
http://www.shineautoproject.com/typerefc.htm

Mazda RX-7 VFiber Tracer Body Kit - FK93MRX7CW
http://www.bodykits.com/VFiber/Body-...MRX7CW/622918/
will be getting someone to do the conversion for this

a glass sunroof

Wide Body Kit

back glass spoiler like my friend Eddie
https://www.rx7club.com/album.php?al...ictureid=15248

Visors

I still dont know yet if im going to want to stick with the white color of the car or a candy Blue/Cobalt Blue. So what do you guys think? Would like some of your opinions XD thanks.

please dont go with that body kit , i have a feeling that whoever you get to do the work will just mold in the whole thing. Its not even the right year.

Check out this thread, theres alot of pretty cool cars *as well as some I would hate*
https://www.rx7club.com/2nd-generation-non-technical-pictures-198/japanese-tune-influence-fc-gallery-%2Apicture-heavy%2A-886099/

If you want some influence to keep things classy and simple, stick with white, and some lip kit/sideskirts
https://www.rx7club.com/showpost.php...postcount=3315

Get suspension on the list before bodykit in my opinion.

That automatic engine has probably been sitting forever and MAYBE have some stuck seals or flatten springs. I hope you removed the coolant drain plug from the engine or that old coolant maybe getting gunked up/corroded.

Do a lot more research before you decide on a body kit.

Suspension before body kit IMHO.

Glass sunroof? Cool but better to consider as the last thing you buy.

I'd stick with white to make things easier plus you can never go wrong with white if you take care of it.

Engine wise? Easiest thing to do is get a S5 TII long block/sensors. Rebuild the motor, get a custom driveshaft if you dont want to swap rearends yet. Its all plug and play.

I personally would do everything then paint last. Just so you dont scratch and F-up the paint while doing suspension and engine swap and such. Good luck.

UPDATE:Thanks to everyone that subscribed to this. I did a transmission swap to it the car and one of my buddies gave me a bolt on turbo for the engine, but befor that i had to give it a, what i call, 360 paint job inside and out. After it came out of the shop, my cuz came over and fell in love with the car. He traded me his 1997 Nissan 240sx SE for my Rx-7. To some friends that i made here in rx7club, i just wanted to say this, I will always and forever will be a rotory fan. Hopefully by next year i get a new 7, but for right now im going to fix up this "Virgin" 240sx that my cuz though had no potential. See you all next year, hopefully.

an NA FC with bad history for a 97 s14? if its in good condition, thats a good trade. 240s are solid cars, very well balanced stock.

You just have to worry about theft potential when fixing up that S14 imo

Na the 97 was also stolen and the person that stole it crashed the front so my cusion didnt want to deal with it anymore...

And im not a sell out

Bought my second Fc today, 88 AE complete shell with no motor, keeping it in my Garage ATM till i fix up my S14. Cost me 500, found it at the junkyard since a buddy of mine works their and called me up to buy it.

I could only hope someone would take my deathtrap cursed pos off my hands and give me a better car for it.

Praying to Joe Pesci a 5 speed swapped gs300 with a 1j in it is involved in said curse-lifting but i doubt it.

You're pretty lucky. 10ae and an unmolested stock s14? I clap for you.
