Pinks came here and I competed. I wont be in the main part of the TV show because they went with a 12.5 bracket and I was running much faster. I was the only rotary powered car there those two days, and I never lost a race against any V8s. Doesnt seem to impress the Pinks crowd much though, all Mullet militia.

Had fun with my crew, including my wife and Glen and Tom the owners of ArizonaRotaryRockets who built the motor. Probably wont mess with Pinks again though...

They should have a pinks-allout just for imports as an episode.

That show got old after like 3 episodes. The only episode I liked was when that FC3S.org car beat the Full Race civic.

They just didnt want a 7liter or something getting smoked by a 1.3liter on tv. haha

ya, rich christianson is the flagger, its nate pritcher is who pisses me off, NO respect for imports, and i dont blame them, there have been a few unbelieveable imports, but the rest, suck.
"i need 10 lengths"- civic driver, just to brake his axles cause the track is soooo sticky.
ya, i watch every episode just for the man drama, had a friend of a close friend on there, owns the only sponsored drag car on the show, the napa drag car, bought it that day.

peace

hahahaha....there was one episode where he got on a sportbike and throttled it a little and busted his *** and wasted at least 5-10 minutes of the show. He does do his job though...

I watch it cause of the drama too, a lot of those guys (especially nate) turn into little bitches when negotiating, but I would probably too if I were racing a 10k+ drag car I built myself. Pinks All Out is ok and I'll watch it if I'm bored but I do enjoy watching Pinks. The speed machine 2nd gen race was def. theee ****.

Bracket racing is hard... I prefer "all out" drag racing.. there is nothing worse then someone having to let off the gas before the finish line so they don't make it down the track faster then they mean to.....

Yeah to stay on topic, great job as usual J-Rat. I've always been a fan of your car, you did a great job of building it. Way to represent RX7s

J,
sounds like the event was not worth your effort? I have tickets for the all out event here at San Antonio raceway in March 7/8. Any tips/suggestions.

Nice photos.

They get far to intense ....

"I want 1 car length".
"Im not giving you a car length."
"Well you just beat me so give me a 3/4 car length."
"Half a car length and you got yourself a deal."
"Deal."

All those guys are pretty much like that, learn how to fricken race. Head on head, if the other car is to good for you than dont race him.

Nice pic though, let's get more rotarys on that show kicking those pistons in the ***.

No, I wouldn't say it wasn't worth the effort, its just there were WAAAAY to many V8s and barely any imports. 430 people entered the event and I was the ONLY rotary powered car there... I felt kinda like a little fish in a big pond. So aside from me there were two DSMs a Chaser, and two or three Civics.

I would still go though, and just have fun.

To everyone:

Thanks for the compliments! I definitely had a good time and even though I didn't get to race in the All Out competition, I still got to represent rotaries!

Here is a vid that someone took I found on AOL video. The car was a 10 sec car, but I got the win light at the end. Dont know what I ran because they never told me.

I seen a 7 on pinks the other day ..... Was an 89 t2 running I think 10psi on a aftermarket turbo vs. a honda civic with nitrous. T2 took him like nothing.
