Yeah, I saw you were selling your aem setup in the classifieds. If i had the money to burn i would have snatched it up but my cheap *** will be probably going with rtek instead.

Nah, i'm not hating. Actually pretty jealous. Cool twins you got there.

Now that is cool, you don't see many supercharger setups on RX-7s, and definitely not one so well done as that.

but does it make anywhere near a typical TII + bolt-on hp numbers for the sake of being different?

because for the price you pay to supercharge it, you could completely overhaul your engine!

Well I can say that for the money invested the turbo car I am building will out power this one easy. As far as my set up I have yet to see anyone else running a water to air cooler with the Camden. I also had a larger diameter main pulley made to overdrive the charger & I have the smallest blower pulley Camden could find. When the car is put back together, I'll get some numbers up. This is on an agressive street ported 13bt with 9.4:1 rotors & a ZEX system jetted for 150. When I first built the car back in the mid 90's it handled it's own, but it's a little outdated I guess, but I like it & besides I'm doing a turbo 7 more up to date.

BTW this car wasn't built to make astronomical power figures, I built it the way I wanted & really it's just a weekend car to play around with. It only has 71k on the chassis, it's plenty strong, I think it looks good, it has power steering & A/C. It might not be for everyone, oh well it's good for me. I'll post pics of the turbo project as I progress with it.

That is the first body kit I ever wanted for my 7, definitely don't see many of those rolling around, let alone with such a sick engine bay. I really like the car though, I mean my tastes have changed since I first saw that kit, now a days I like a stock look but that it awesome dude. I am curious what your doing with the new turbo build after seeing this thing. Keep up the great work man, good job.

Thanks man I have had the car forever. Well as of right now I'm stuck between using one of my FB's or my other FC. I have a Ford 9" with some 4.56 gears, a Master Power GT45, some 1250cc injectors, an Aeromotive A1000 fuel system, a 24"x12"x4" fmic & 13bt to start with. Looking to get a Microtech and the rest when I get to working again.

No spacers at all. I thought I was going to have to use them, so I bought some longer studs. I was going to see how much room I had and much to my surprise. I have about 3/8" between the tire and the Tokicos.
It was a shock to me. After all that calculating it looked like I had to use a spacer for sure. Maybe 15mm.

Maybe its because the rims are 18s idk. Do you have positive camber?

my tires rubbed slightly when i had my 17x7 +38 with a 215 tire and no spacers
