Thanks! My hood has a big hole for fitment so it doesn't do any significant shielding anyway.

I'm running the MS Shadow dash app on my android tablet. It connects to the Megasquirt through a Bluetooth adapter.

It's actually really sweet! It uses GPS for the speedo, the tablet's accelerometers to measure forces when you're driving, and tells me really detailed engine functions; it even data logs.

Haven't noticed any latency issues as of yet, and its super affordable ($10 for the app and $50-$60 for the Bluetooth adapter).
