Thank u. 9 years, I think I beated Juiceh's vert build...
I built it with authentic RE A.aero package. Started as a stock black '89 T2.
Thank you. Feels good to finally have seat time after..... 8years or so, but in a much different car.
Although I hate car shows, I decided to debut the car at Slammed Society Chicago back in June.

I love how we've all been trying so hard to make out cars "cool", and "awesome" for ever, and then Jaime's all just like "2013 Swag. BOOM. Sorry guys game over."
I think Russ's car is my favorite right now. Can't help the fact that the slightly "unfinished", or "track rat" look gets me every single time.
I'm happy for you man. FC guys making moves is a plus for all of us.

Driver's side is from a car with an engine fire, pass side came from a car that rolled. Felt them to be a "nice touch" lol
Dangly piston
If you remember this car it had vert wheels on before. Just picked these up for it last night. I can definitely confirm the obvious that 245's out handle 195s hahah. I also blew the engine about 3 weeks after getting it all put together and running. Was running a CHEAP alt/WP belt and I launched it. when the squealing stopped (it launched) I thought, hey, no more squeals!!! Well, the WP was no longer turning as it kicked smog in the process. Drove home, about 20 miles, and had no indication I wasn't spinning the WP/alt because:
-never installed warning light cluster
-don't have illumination on the gauges to look over voltmeter
-it was night lol
FAIL on my part! It broke a middle iron, so I did a BUDGET rebuild, which consisted solely of an atkins oring kit. replaced the mid & rear iron, lapped all the irons by hand before install (valve grinding compound), scuffed housings, opened exhaust ports/cut out diffusers. All hard seals were USED parts. I spec'd side seals (have dismantled ~15 engines throughout rotary ownership, always saved seals even if nothing else) to .003" clearance, and found a set of used 3pc oem apex's that came in ~7.70mm height across the board, oem spec is 8.0-6.5. Moment of truth was the 1000 mile mark compression test, on a mazda tester I pulled 100's up front @245 rpm, & 115's on the back same RPM. LOL! Not bad for $200.
Other than that, the wheels, & the magnaflow fart can car is out being daily driven making a bad name for FCs, and making me look like a COMPLETE IDIOT for driving it. If only they knew what laid in my garage hahaha
