Finally put her back on the road after a lot of work. Feels real good to have it driving again.

 

 

Is that plasti dip? I want my car that color, like a satin black. Looks great though!

 

Thanks but it's not Plasti Dip. It's Rat Rod Satin Black single stage urethane from Eastwood. I redid the whole body and painted it last summer.

 

Wow I love it. How much did it cost?

 

How odd to see the exact same parts on another car!?!

 

It cost a few hundred bucks for the topcoat materials, I ended up doing it twice basically due to some mistakes the first time around. It was my first legit paint job and the satin is tricky to get just right. It's $120 for a gallon of satin black and that should do two coats. I also spent quite a bit on body supplies, epoxy primer and urethane primers. But it was well worth the countless hours of sanding and stuff, good project and I am happy with the results.
