Out of curiosity do those "aero" mirrors bring in more wind into the window while it's open? One issue I have with my car is no A/C and the windows open doesn't help because the air passes me and goes to the back of the car.

I get BLASTED with air in my car. Not sure if it has anything to do with the mirrors, but i can neverrr get my hair out of my face. Radio said it looks like an octopus wrapping around my head

I'm 5'7" wish shoes on and I sit close enough so that my wrist touches the top of the steering wheel when my back is against the seat. Maybe the fact you're taller helps? Only the back of my hair gets blown around. Front/bangs stay perfectly still even at 100-160kmph on the highway. If I roll both windows down that's a different story. All sorts of turbulence and tornados in the car, aha.

Just finished a "rushed" 4 week build for this thing. There is a story, and it is supposed to look that horrible. haha.
I got the shell (no wiring, or anything mechanical, just doors and 4 lug to roll around on. BARE BONES!) for free about 5 weeks ago in exchange (guess it's not fully free) for pulling all the parts off it (engine, 5 lug, diff, trans etc). Had been wrecked in the right rear QT panel. Owner no longer wanted it, and had purchased another car to make into his project car.
I've restored a few FCs, have several more awaiting restoration (all stock, no mods etc), and daily one (the only modded one I've got, an '88 4 lug that's been T2 swapped.). I noticed I'd become FAR too **** about the car, brushing my feet off before getting in it, always putting a sun shade up to keep the dash & associated plastics in tact, etc... so the goal here was for a TOTAL rat for the lowest possible cost.
I went through my parts stash, and had about 95% of what I needed to get it road worthy. Had to purchase the coilovers, a full fuel/brake line set from junkyard, & some other odds & ends. But the wiring & all mechanical, doors, body panels I had. Went together well!
The real fun is driving it though- there's delrin bushing's at every pivot point in the suspension, a speedway engineering sway bar, all the wiring is S5 along w/ the S5 engine, which is also a maz factory reman. emusa rear, ksport front coilovers, vert wheels, aluminum racing seat. It's an absolute BLAST to drive, and the fact I can just go somewhere & not care if it gets a door ding or anything... oh man it's like a huge weight being lifted!
It may look 100% hideous, but, it's 100% fun to drive!
