i know exactly how you feel, but with enough hard work and time things will get better. sometimes whenever i install something new, something else breaks leaving me to wait and wait to get the money and fix the problem. you'll forget about it this and laugh about it with your friends because your fc will be the way you want it because you cared about it so much.

just be thankful you didnt get hurt or anything like that. btw my fc is down right now so i have to walk to work for a week or so, takes a hour but whatever, when i finally get back behind the wheel is what will make me happy again just like i hope it does for other guys on this forum.

Authentic as in look and fit awesome? Well yes. Authentic as in real LM's? No. Will I have some real LM'S? You bet your *** I will.

I couldn't justify spending 4k on a wheel setup I didn't fully understand and never had experience with. But, now that I know, understand and have a good starting point, I'm on the hunt.


I'm not one who gives people **** for real or fake wheels. If it looks good it looks good. However, there are no reps that look as beautiful as real LM's. That's the only reason I will end up with some authentic BBS.

A stock FC is a very good/rare find, and is something that SHOULD be very appreciated which justifies the seemingly unnecessary "Awe". A fanboy, stickerbombed FC, with cheap wheels, and un-tasteful mods such as tow-hooks should not be treated with the same "Awe", and does not.

never said I hated the car or anything, just don't see the point. and the "teaser" part, actually that's pretty much just it. We've already seen it all in the "teaser" tow-hook, stickers, seat, end.

Now for P-lav, sorry your car has made such a stir. I do respect your car, and respect the fact that we have different taste. I do not mean any dis-respect towards you, or your car. I will say this though, Coilovers can be found for verrry good around this time, people are upgrading, and selling old sets for a steal! get on it!

 

I'm just saying I'd rather see a car modded to the owners' tastes than the same ole boring stock FC. The fact his wheels are "cheap" or "fake" or "knockoffs", like mine, is irrelevant in the real world as long as they look good. I kinda agree with the towhook and "stickerbombed" look as you call it, but really it's his car. If he is proud of what he has done to it, he should be allowed to show it off in the thread where people show off their cars just as much as the next guy without getting **** for making a teaser video.

Coils&vics, best way to start an fc build. tow hooks&stickers, leave that to the civic kids.

& To be completely honest, I LOVE knockoffs, I just love real **** more.. nothing beats smashing a wheel against a curb and buying one for $100 the next day.

Talk to me about the oil coolers. I couldnt get them like that, without removing the fiberglass reinforced bumper. did you had to remove it?

 

I threw a shitty premade filter on it because the original was completely ******* horrible and i took it on my phone without access to a computer to edit it. Hopefully i don't get too much **** for it xD

Anyways, i took the 205's that were up front and threw them in the garage, moved the 225's up front and threw some massive 245 50 16's in the rear. Sits WAY mean. For whomever you are that was whining about my fenders being rolled when I'm "at stock height", you can see why. They rub as is, if it were not for the fenders being rolled and pulled they never would have fit under there, ESPECIALLY the front. I can't wait to see how she sits with some coils and dropped another inch or two.

@KNONFS yes i did remove the fiberglass reinforced bumper. and had a little bit of cutting to fit the oil coolers.
