friend is gonna give me some spare Falken tires to start off with, 245/35/18, and 265/35/18

Give it to me straight:
What do I need to expect from these wheels?
What will/wont fit?
Whats the best tire size to get so I can have some "meaty" tires? (Kinda wanted 255/40-265/40... The more tire front and back, the better... Kinda why I wanted 17s.)

NO over fenders. NO pull. I will roll the fenders but I want an OEM body look, flush wheels... maybe a TAD of poke is ok (with that in mind, what kind of spacers should I look to get? +5 front, and +10 rear?)

And if I have it all wrong, whats my worst case scenario JUST to be able to get the wheels to fit.
WOW that's gonna look a little umm... different, than what i'm used to haha

I thiiink with those offsets and a fat tire, it will already be pretty close to the fender

this should help?------------

doesn't look like it needed any fender work at all.. I think you should run that 265, with a 10mm spacer, and go from there

^----- THATS what I wanted to see... Those wheels look so much better than mine too... Damn... I have some work ahead to get that kinda fitment... Defintally have to give up meaty tires...

That offset and wider size gives me a little hope and realization about going ahead and swapping my wheel faces... Make them +25.

gwhiz, how much room do you have, or what did you have to do to make them fit. Your setup looks perfect. whole car is awesome.

Hey Scrapp,

Thanks man. Whole set-up is completely flush. Running wider fenders on the front, rolled the rear arches. It will rub on the front, but only if you go over a bump and are turning at the same time. No rub on the rear, but I need to wind it down a little.

Yea... Thats the only downside to the FC... to really have nice clearance, you need wider fronts.... How big are they? My buddy was running 50mm over, with 17x10 +20ish all around. You couldnt even tell he had wider fronts, it just looked... Good.

...In fact. yours is built just like his. Same skirts, same rear diffuser, and almost same front bumper. he has the actual bumper, not just the lip part, and now he has wide rears + a huge wing + vented hood now.

and Radio, didn't you have to use a spacer on the stangs? and they were +24 right?
Would I need to mess with any type of camber or anything fitting a 17in wheel on my FC ?
