Just checked out possible tire sizes. 215/35/18 and 245/35/18. A bit much? Lemme know. I don't exactly have $ to burn at the moment.

Different angle of snoops setup. Unsure of tire sizes. Looks like a nice stretch on the rears. Looks pretty tough.

I'd say 215/35 f and 235/35 r if you can get those sizes.. So you can have a closer to equal stretch all around.. And it'll need less of a pull to fit

It's completely stock. No over fendes.

Thanks for the input beachFC. Would running 40's make a big difference? I have some that are on a set of volks in my garage. The rears are 235/40. But I would need new front tires.

Sorry if this is a noob question or already discussed at length.

If i got the equips im trying for, theyre a 18x9/10 and i was gonna run a 215/35 and a 225/35 or 40. just because my car is so low i need a significant stretch to make that work

I don't think I'll be as low as you because I'll have a full kit. But since you're moving up in size, are you getting a kit or will you keep it stockish? I'm also of the belief that 18's demand a kit to look dope.

yup, i completely agree. i eventually plan on doing aero, but for right now, i cant. practically all my deployment money is going to wheels, fixing small problems with the car, and getting a daily. but probably around tax return time i might.

well not really, actually it would probably make it easier to see the difference in stretch.. but 40 series on 18's would probably rub at the upper most point of the fender well long before it would be "low" to someone like me, as the difference between a 40 and a 35(in 235's) would be almost exactly a half inch, which makes a big difference when you are 3 inches off the ground

35's would be ideal on an 18.. notice how MOST, not all, but MOST fc's on 18s are no where near low..

i'll never understand why someone would run 315/35-18's on a streeted N/A fc

I totally understand. This is a great deal of help. I would like to be as low as possible. I don't wanna scrape frame. I also have my n1's to worry about. So I'm leaning towards 215/40 235/40 because they're easier to find in matching brands it seems at my local tire shops. Other wise they'd be all mismatched. And although I'm not balling I don't want her look like a cheap date.

RTYPWR, I totally understand. Most of us do. I have all the parts and aero I need but I'm tapped out on getting fresh paint and refinishing my t2 hood. Lol

P0tat0, I've wanted to do a swap for a long time. Once it's up and running I'd love to get together and check it out.

Well noted. I'm definitely looking for the less complicated route. Just put her in the garage to await the coilover transplant. Any one have experience with STANCE GR + pro's?

Oh cool. I also wanted to do a stagger but the Varrstoens don't come in 17's. I want to be as low as possible. Since she isn't my daily I can deal with it being overly aggressive but still drivable. I live near all the highways so I won't be driving on the terrible streets. When I had my driveway redone I made sure they did as soft of a slope to mate with the asphalt knowing full well one day I'll be dumb low. Should have tires on next week. Working on renting a fender roller.

Thanks for the well wishes. A buddy is coming over tomorrow to give me a hand. This should be fun.

Coilovers were installed over the weekend. Still searching to buy some tires for my new wheels. Lowered it about 2 inches. I can go alot lower wirh some camber adjustments done to the fronts. On 18's I must say, it looks pretty good! Still not rolled or pulled. Pics soon.

Heres a dry fit with my kit.
