because as of now my car is badly faded and has primed spots on it, and if i paint it I want it to be right and not with cheap paint, plus I DD the car and cant afford to have it down that long.. and would like it to be all one color!

I'd paint my FC their new matte purple just for ***** and gigs.
Paint job = 2-4,000
Plastidip whole car + equipment = 400-500
The cool thing about plastidip is I've seen people paint over the plastidip with real paint that way they could eventually peel that off aswell.

I actually rly like the gunmetal grey.. and I think ill just get a gallon and some thinner and my gun and go to town with it.. if it turns out shitty just rip tht **** off and keep adding money to the car jar. ill have maybe $200 in it, maybe less. so no harm done..

I was heavily considering it for a while, but got lucky and stumbled upon a great deal for body shop and paint from a new start up shop. I've spent lots of time reading in the dyc forums. I do not like the gun metal at all. If you are gonna dip, custom mix a color. A dark blue would amazing. 3:1 blue to black. And then you have to worry about your technique. It could get ugly really quick.

What? You wanna use underseal for paint? That's gonna be delightful to remove when it's actual paint time.why wouldn't you use regular spray cans and aerosol clear if you are gonna go ghetto fabulous on it.
