Pic Request: Steering Wheel Setup
Looking at Personal wheels specifically, seen a few of them and liked them. I was wondering what sizes were best (330mm - 350mm) to view the stock gauges. Obviously I need a hub or quick release. Post your setups!

Anything under stock (380mm) will block the gauges; I've got a 350, but it doesn't block the gauges too badly. Pictures of my setup are around here, a lot of people have seen it, no need to post it anymore, haha. (It's not a Nardi personal wheel, just a normal Nardi.)

One thing to be aware of...
The stock steering wheel is offset by @ 1/2" (the hub and rim are not concentric), so even a 380mm aftermarket wheel will obscure the turn signal indicators a little more than the stocker.
Also, if you have a manual steering rack, going to a smaller than stock wheel diameter will have a disproportionate effect on steering effort.
I started with P/S and replaced the worn stock wheel with a 350mm wheel and it was fine. Then I deleted the P/S and soon acclimated to the feel but recently swapped in a FD (380mm) unit and was surprised by how much easier the effort was.
Bigger is better, IMO.

Good point, I'll mention that my wheel is offset as well, but still blocks some the gauges...Hold on i'll try and grab a perspective shot.
