pic request: gxl wheels on springs
They hardly made anything in a 17" in 1986. I was just flipping through the November 1985 "Road and Track" magazine with all the details on the "new" 1986 RX-7. It's interesting to see the ads for aftermarket wheels and tires in the back and seeing how rare even a 16" was back then. You could buy brand new aftermarket BBS wheels in the 13 x 6" size for your BMW 320i or your Audi 4000 for about $100 each...
I agree the saw blades are decent looking as S4 OEM wheels go. I prefer the machined ones that became available in '88 to the earlier painted versions myself.

here's my gxl with the polished rims, but they are partially painted black. i realize that the car is not dropped at all, but i figured it kind of relevant because they are polished. i got GC on order, so I can post up a lowered pic when i get the time to install them
