+1, i saved to get my SSR's well worth spent, very well made... and plus it makes your car so much nicer, i have a slow *** vert, but i still turn heads

nice wheels cost money, nice parts cost money, people just dont understand the quality of the parts.

BUT if you have about 1k laying around you can pick up a good set of wheels.

for example i just got a set of TE37's for a subaru off of ebay for 810$ brand NEW!!!

and just picked up a set of BBS RS for the VW as well.

not to mention when you buy one set of nice wheels you can trade/sell and buy for other high end wheels.

rbwheels.com is a great site to browse through.

back to the original posters topic. i have owned advans/work emotions/ BBS/volks etc and the work meister s1 is still my favorite wheel.

those you posted are SSR professor SP1's. notice the rivets in between the spokes. work meister s1 3 piece wheels have the rivets all the way around the barrel. and the work mesiter S1 2 piece doesnt have any rivets. the black car posted with the caribbean blue wheels (is what i believe the color is) are work meister S1 3 piece.

also you can notice from different angles that the shape of the spokes themselves are different. and slightly more flat on the face with the SSR's.

there are also the SSR professor SP1-R which dont have the stepped lip.

and quick edit.

the wheels you posted (SSR professor SP1) are still mid price range wheels (more than most people want to spend) but can be had in a knock off. the most common being the ROTA D2 which i believe is not going to be sold any longer due to a lot of issues with brake clearance. you can still find them for sale some places but wheeldude.com has stopped selling them.

Work Meister S1 3-piece is the HOTTEST 5 spoke-deep dish-3 piece-wheels IMO.. SSR arent deep enough, and Rota D2... well they are just affordable knock-off wheels, a cheap imitation.
