Pic Request: FC's with Mazdaspeed MS-02

Hi guys, I found a set for a killer price and I know they are old, rare and popular among rotorheads in Japan, now some like em some hates em.. I think they are different I've been searching for FC's with MS-02 and I saw a few oldschool FD's but no FC's except for this flat black FC with MS-02

Im thinking about getting them regardless, is just that this picture doesnt do much justice.. anybody feels like contributing? Ill appreciate it BIG TIME

That's Circuit Theory's car.

I would love to get my hands on those wheels. You shouldn't even have to think about whether or not you get them

Yeah Ive seen it from the front but I couldnt find it.. but is that it? the only FC with those wheels in the whole rotary community? Gotta be a rare combo.. guess it would be only Circuit City's and mine lol I dont really think it matches with the FD like it does with the FC

Those things are "cool" from a collectors standpoint only. They are hideous, and the only thing I'd use one for is to make a coffee table....for the garage.

If done properly, a car stance can make any wheel look nice. After I fix some minor scuffs Ill decide whether I should paint it in TE37 bronze, flat black or keep it silver, they all go well with red lol Ill try to remember to upload some pictures to show you guys the wheels' condition.

I think they look kinda neat, definitely different, but not a wheel I'd want to use, really.

I found them at this car flea market here in Bolivia and bought them from a dude who sells used wheels, he also sells used JDM wheels from sport cars that came from Japan (We have LHD converted JDM cars: Starlet Glanza V, WRX, Evos, Levins, Truenos, Silvias, Skylines, Celica GT-Four etc. and most of them come with JDM parts) When I bumped into these set, I remember he also had a set of Volk Racing C-Ultra on 16s, and a set of Advans on 16s too. For my luck, the guy was unaware of their value and sold me the MS02 for a killer price

They do need some love, but they are on good hands now. After fixing the wheels, most likely gonna have to be painted, I'm considering painting them either in Volk Racing Bronze, Black Matte (center caps and outer lip), or repainting it in silver. As you can see above they all are 17x7, I suppose they came off a 323F.

After paying only $320 for them, I don't see any reason not to rock these babies even if they're only 7 inches wide. Like I said, pictures don't do any justice and most of you people out there saying they are ugly prob haven't seen them in person (and prob never will LOL, they RARE). With an aggressive stance you can make any wheel look hawt

Yes sir $350 obo, offered $320 and took em home hehe. Now I gotta save some money for rubber and finally put em on the car to see if they look good, Im not digging Circuit Theory's Fc stance. If the case is so, I might buy two 17x9 for the back.. if not, I'll get a set of Xxr wheels 18s staggered, either 521, 522, 527, or 962 wheels, their prices are very accessible compared to JDM wheels and their sky high prices even if their sizes are lower than 18

I hate myself, but last month a set went out on eBay for 87,- Euros, plus 200,- USD shipping.

I could have had a set for like 250,- bucks... :-(

They wheels, all by themselves are intricate and interesting. The problem comes when you actually put them on a car, that's when they look like crap.

As far as a deal....err not really. They are only 7" wide (not even wide enough for a stretch if you're into that sort of thing). You can get a set of crown vics for under $100 that are 7" wide and actually look good when mounted on an FC.

Like I said, you can make any wheel look nice with an aggressive stance. The fact that they are genuine JDM wheels, usually pricey as f*ck, I got a pretty sweet deal regardless of their sizing. Keep in mind MS-02 are long discontinued, rare, and made for Mazda by Rays Engineering. Keep your crown vic wheels.. I'll be cruising around snapping necks with my rare MS-02

The thing is with Tom's rx7 (Circuit Theory) he actually lives in japan, and his car has a good track setup. He got a lot of good parts when he worked at Wise One. Who are a shop that build track setups. So believe me his stance is better and more useful then you can think ( maybe the pictures don't give the car credit).

The car now has MS01 and its his week-end car, he has a Eunos Roadster for daily driver, and a drift missile FC with another set of wheels. He had a FD which he sold.
And a mint RX3 he restored, and was sold to a guy in Australia !!!

The pictures of his MS02 FC was like almost 5 years ago.... I have other pictures of his cars.

the Mazda with MS01 and oem front end (was the one pictured in this thread, with MS02 and Kagotani front end if i remember correctly). And his Eunos Roadster, which is really cool, i actually had a ride in it.

his Drift Missile:

And his sweeeeeeet RX3:
