Pic Request: Carbon Fiber Exhaust Heat Shield

I'm wondering if anyone has pictures or references of carbon fiber exhaust heat shields that attach on the cut out of the rearend bumper. I have a S4 with a straight pipe and I have a bunch of burn marks on my bumper and Im going to paint it soon and was hoping i can install one so i dont end up burning it off eventually

The epoxy resin degrades above 150*F, which is probably the same or lower temperature than modern paint degrades. They're only there for ricer points or possibly to conceal soot buildup since they are usually black. Notice that race cars use aluminum heat shields?

Would you possibly know what temperature the aluminum heat shield degrades at and if i could just get a sheet of aluminum, cut it out and slap it on ?

Let me google that for you

Of course it would warp quite a bit before that. By "burn" marks do you mean soot and other deposits? Or actual melting? I have a bit of a problem believing that your exhaust would leave "burn marks" on your bumper without actually melting it. Which means it would have to be touching.

JKL Racing Engineering - FC3S Series 5 Carbon Fiber Rear Bumper Exhaust Guards

The only place I have ever found them for FC's. I also have an S4, but since I have the bumpers and trim for an S5 conversion, I bought a set since they only fit S5 bumpers. They are good quality and seem to fit alright. But given the amazing condition of my S4 TII body overall. I put the S5 conversion on the back burner. So that means my carbon fiber exhaust guards and TII front lip spoiler just get to sit in a box til the day I may actually use them.
