Overboost, that's livin sidewayz car. Well, it used to look like that anyway.
See, that looks weird to me from the side. The glass has to be domed for it to work.
Maybe civic hatchback glass would work? I dunno. Right now i'm more concerned with my car stopping than thinking about this. Stupid brakes......

Or if you really want to go nuts, you could completely re-do the proportions. (Whole car shortened length-wise, rear wheel moved back, hatch shortened, roof line modified)
If you really look at an FC from the side, the rear end is too big and the rear wheel is too far forward.

heres a 2 min shop of the picture above..after redoing the lines it looked like a b-pillar off a R32 and looked weird..so i added a carbon rear window insert. Hypertek might have some other ideas as well. But like everyone else says the vert is a better candidate for making a coupe sorta rx7.

The rx wagon reminds me of a johnny cab from total recall.
SICK.
I really thought it would look gross but its so damn different.
That's something i'd bag so the frame sits on the floor and the wheels tuck, 2 18" RE XXX with a jbl 6000 watt amp. W0000. Baller.
I dream alot.
Ultrataco: That is cool. I like that. If i had the money, i'd pay someone to make it happen. I dont have the patience for everything involved required to make it look like that. Making the wheel base longer like that not only would look cooler but would make the car alot less twitchy.

One more pic. This is the last one (for now). I'm having too much fun with this.

Yeah, I'm not really a fan of huge wheels/slammed look either, but I think it fits the wagon.
another view:
I can't imagine this would be very hard to do in real life, especially if you kept the hatch functionality. Just make a frame the same size as the base of the hatch glass and weld on the hatch from some other car. Or something like that . I really don't know anything about fabrication.
