Painted my vert rims
#1
I've seen people do it so figured why not give it a try. After about 2 weeks or working on em little by little after work every night I'm finally done. I'm going to get them mounted today after work. Here's a few pictures of the progress
Hardest and most painstaking part was masking off the lip. I just wanted to be done with em after the first one but had 3 more afterwards. Polishing the lip was a bitch too.

Yep just your standard valspar spray paint from Lowes. I bought a $20 polishing kit from harbor freight that comes with 3 clay bars and a few drill bits. I plugged in the drill and went to town. But before that I sprayed the rims with aircraft paint stripper and then used steel wool with water to remove any excess clear coat. After that wet sanded the lip with 1500 grit paper and then used the polishing kit. Then I used mothers aluminum polish to finalize the deal. Needless to say my arm still hurts lol ;p
