Exclamation Opinions On This RX-7

I would like some of your opinions on this project, good or bad, but if you think it looks like ****, just post a pic of your 7 looking better.

I’m pretty much done with it. The only thing left to do is changing to the FC 2000 front bumper which is getting done in the next few weeks.

Also i’m in the process of getting modified car insurance, rather then compiling a list of what I have into it, I would rather insure it for what I could sell it for, any ideas of what I should “value” it for? After all something is only worth what you can sell it for.

Fire Away!

Simply put, insure it for what it's worth to you, not to someone else. Most of us here will probably dislike a few key aesthetic features, like the front bumper, wing, and fender vents. Don't forget the color choice. Now, I do have to give props. This car is extremely clean and done with a professional quality of work. I second the request on engine pics. Did you do anything to upgrade performance? You did add a lot of weight with the subs, body extras, and possibly with the exhaust.

$5k for paint and they didn't do under the hood??

A little ownage on that.. I would insure it for what you have invested because other then a complete total out, you will never see a fraction of your investment.

dont like it. with all the extensive body work you would think you'd have better taste in wheels. those wheels are on every civic and accord. upgrade to some multi piece mesh wheels with dish (even if they are work rezaxx still seen it).

You also need to cleanup that engine underneath the hood. The paint looks decent, the fenders are .. not my style.

I don't like the box in the trunk. Looks like a generic box just thrown in there.

I'd value it at 6000.

Lose the wing.

Lose the antenna.

Lose the holes in the fender and 'Spirit R' badges.

Get some better wheels (ie: staggered fit).

Lose the heavy sub box in the trunk (nobody needs that much boom).

Lose the diamond plate floor mats.

Get a real boost gauge, wideband, oil pressure, water temp gauges.

Not a fan at all, RX7s are purpose built cars. You want a nice sound system, exterior mods and a nice *** interior buy a 300ZX/Supra/3000GT, they're much more "touring" cars than the FC. FC's just give you the most performance for your money, thats why we have plastic dashes and crappy interiors.
Heres pics of my car when it was bone stock with vert wheels:

BODY: Not a fan of the wing cuz it doesn't go with anything else on the car. The front end looks like a Supra. dunno what the holes in the 1/4 panel are all about. Color looks great sides and rear skirts look good.

INTERIOR: Looks fine minus the floor mats. Do you live in the boonies or always have muddy shoes?

Props on the TII swap. rims look good, Sound system is large but who here doesn't like a nice sounding system? It's a vert so I doubt weight savings is a priority
