Nice Marshall Im gonna have to come and check out your FMIC setup to get some ideas. Wasnt yours just an ebay special? Or did you buy a kit? I forget, probably already told me.
Here are some pics so the mods dont get me. They are mostly new shots. The car is gonna get paint soon hopefully, its needing it pretty badly, even though the pictures dont show it as much. Need to plug that exhaust vacuum, also known as the 3rd brake light. Previous owner damaged it somehow and I removed the broken chunks of it, so I now have a big *** rain drinking, exhaust sucking hole in the rear
Also, while Im at it, what do you guys think about me going with black leather racing seats? Think it will look ok with grey interior? I would go black carpet but Id have to redo the dash, door panels and all of that stuff. Too much work for me. Interior is dirty as hell and needs to be detailed big time, along with install some of my parts I havent yet.

Took some quick pictures tonight of me and my freinds (EclipsedByTheMoon) car. Not much, but we were bored. My car needs trim pieces, windshield, new paint, and exhaust. His needs paint. Mines the red 87' his is the Arctic Silver 88'. Not prestine, but certainly 2 of the cleaner T2's around.
Some after washing them earlier...

Here's a couple from the shoot that he didn't post up. The first two were at my house after we washed them.
Next week we're probably going to try and find somewhere else to take pictures so we can get some better angles. We were ran off from the Galleria parking deck by mall cops, so we ended up in a Walmart Parking lot.
What was funny was after we pulled up in the parking lot these High Schoolers (one was in a 5th gen Prelude, the other in some sedan, don't remember what model) moved all the way to the other side of the parking lot. I didn't think our cars were that intimidating.

Did some painting today out of boredom. Car will be painted in a few months probably, so this will just make me happy till then. My taillight surround was badly scuffed up like someone took a coarse grit sandpaper and rubbed all over it. I painted it, glued my door trim back on as well as painted my mirrors which were poorly done with the wrong color. They were a dark brownish red, now its a closer match, still not exact but close enough for the next few months.

I <3 rx7club and the wonderful opinions that originate from it. Drifting is stupid if the event is in a parking lot? Sorry, we dont have a lot of tracks in co. Yeah, that kit sure is ricey, because i forgot everyone here gets wet over wack OEM stuff. Kill yourself, but figuratively of course. Here is my stock bodied S4, i think you will notice a big difference in the overall pictures impact. Because i dont have a"ricey" kit. If Ama-san put it on a car 90% of the lemmings on here would crap their pants over it, but since he didnt, its "ricey".
here is another great one of him, he won BTW.

My brother picked up this a few days ago, '90 5-speed. Has the electronic suspension. No markings other than Mazda and RX-7, so I don't know if it's a GTU or what.
People told us it needs apex seals, but we're working on doing our own diagnosis. Chambers where full of fuel when we pulled the plugs, probably washed out the compression.

I still believe that successfully making a turn with no sliding is a much better (more fun) feeling that just sliding around it. It's entertaining but honestly it looks like a bunch of hacks out on the track who never learned how to turn.

i will agree though and say i am not happy with the domestic envolvment in the sport...not that im upset or anything, its just they always give us **** when we take our small japaneese cars to the drag strip but then they come into our world of drifting and think nothing of it!!! just kinda iritates me i guess, nothing big though.....
again sorry for getting so off topic but some ppl just need to grow up!!!
and so im not breaking the rules completly....
my ride as of now....
