i do it for the looks, dude, i know my 7 fast, so i can do big shitty rims and still go fast i spent too much $$$ to race little boys who think they're fast and what the **** i posted like 5 or 6 pix whats the title of this thread haters with 7's or post your pix damn and if the 7 looks good why not post a ******* THUMBNAIL!https://www.rx7club.com/attachment.p...d=218710&stc=1
Here is a pic of my FC only 2 weeks after i bought it. 17x7s +40 with some 205s on it.
I know i should've gotten 17x8s. Those are baloons on those wheels.
I was thinking about putting avon tech-ras (you know the DOT competition tires) in 275s on there but the reccomended by avon rim width is 8" for 275s so i have to get some 225s.

Well to be a little on topic, here's a pic of me driving my Turbo II

Now onto the stupidity that has continued for awhile...I'd like to see a public road that a 100mph drift is possible on, then I'd take the time to point out how stupid it is to do something like that on a public road, then I'd laugh at the statements that continue to attempt to support the ridiculous claims that not having a tire that's the proper size for the rim is a good idea. But whatever, the only good thing about drifting being such a fad now is that it might kill some of these retards. I can only hope that they don't take any innocent bystanders with them.

So...a Shine front end, whole car's getting painted and I think I'm going to sell my Volks to buy some Advans that are 17x8 and 17x9 so I can use beefier tires

Damn, this has been the longest drought for pictures ever.
Lemme end this with a picture, even if it's from a crap camera:
See what a bad camera can do? Looks like an illusion I think.

Especially when I had to hang way out of the window and snap it with 1 hand... I have a few more that arent as good.
Picked it up in Northeast Tennessee from RotaryResurection saturday. We had to drive from Birmingham Al. So it was about a 5 hour, 1 way trip. Pretty nice ride though.
Its honestly probably the nicest T2 Ive seen. There is literally nothing wrong with it. Remaned engine, new clutch, new hoses and alternator. Runs smooth, Idle smooth, starts right up no problem. Interior is good except for a small crack on the center console. 95% of the electronics work. New aftermarket oe replacement exhaust... clean wheels and ok tires... he got a great deal

new fenders
I used to have large dents covering the upper front corners of both my fenders. So I got a couple from a junk yard. I beat out a minor dent and used bondo on it. Then I got online paint matched to the original color, primered, painted and clearcoated the fenders. I had a shop buff the clearcoat. Then I transfered the trim from my old dented fenders.
I can finally take nice pictures of my FC now. I may use swirl mark remover in the future to get a little more shine, as they seem slightly more dull than my clay barred doors (I still haven't clay barred the rest of my car). You can't see the slightly-less-fender-shine in this pic cause of the shade and because the difference is pretty small. Compare the fender to the rear of the chasis or the equally shaded lower part of the door and you'll see that it does match as close to perfect as anyone can hope. Unfortunately I didn't have a usable camera to take "before" pictures. I can give more info if anyone's interested in doing the same to their car.
One I finish clay barring I can put on a nice wax job on my car to make it shine all pretty. The shine you see on the door is just from cleaning with the clay bar. The lesser shine elsewhere is because there's a lot of sun on the hood and because I washed it before taking this pic. Given how much "unremovable" (except by clar bar) crud there is in my paint and my schoolwork, it's gonna be a while before I have a chance to finish clay barring.

some pics of my beater
Was originally a NA on phone dials, redid the interior with turbo seats and turbo steering wheel, suspension has all new bushings, Tokico 5 way illuminas, RB springs, full 5 lug swap, not just the hubs. I removed all emissions, AC, power steering, and just switched to an EFan. I still need a new brake master cylinder, it leaks pretty bad, and need to paint that side of the engine bay where the fluid has removed the paint. Of course the body still needs paint, but is pretty straight,.This is my first RX7, had her since 2000, motor still ran fine at 215,000 when I pulled it, I figured I owed it to her to fix her up and make it a real flamethrowing Hondaeater. I'm far from done, still wanna relocate that alternator, but since this has taken over a year, I'm just happy to have a running car after all the BS that comes with changing with so much stuff. I wish I had a pic with the shine front lip, maybe I'll post later, its nice

Fixed it for you ^^^
