New Camera (Nikon D80)

Received my new Nikon D80 DSLR and haven't really gotten the chance to shoot with it. I posted these b/c I at least have one picture pertaining to 2nd gens and pictures of them... my dash, haha. But more shots to come in time and I'll at least have another lens besides the 50mm f/1.8D.

Anywho, the setup:

I have 3 batteries and even a tray to slide in some AA's for back up. I eventually want to buy a nice flash setup like an SB-600 and a couple of more lenses.

example shots:

"hazard light" button

random stop sign

sorry but I was pretty stoked and wanted to share the good news. I am going to go out and snap a few night shots here in a bit and post them up in a few hours. Washed the TII up and will share later. lol.

Dude, I have been using Nikon's Digital cameras for a long *** time now, 5 years somewhat... and even messed around w/ the 35mm ones as well. This is my 2nd DSLR, and like 6th digital camera.

wanted, and found a couple of lightly used D300's... but no need in that, slowly walk my way up the ladder. I am very pleased with this thing so far.

AH. Sorry... Last "Camera Conversation" I had with you, you were talking about that old fogey stuff... What's it called... Film? Lol... So I assumed this was the first digital for you. Sorry!!

Anyways, I shoot with a D40 but I'm still mostly a novice...

Nice camera, I'm quite content with my Canon 30D. Still learning all the little things about it.

shot some this morning before work and some after I got off. Still working on getting used to what settings the camera likes in what lighting.

I seriously about went to Canon guys. haha. But they are aesthetically the most ugly camera's and I just didn't feel right using one. Not like emotions, just felt odd shooting with one. lol.

But like your Canon's all you want to, J.D. Power and Associates will just continue to vote for the best DSLR's out there. tehe! JK.
