I am in need of a clear picture of the mounting bracket for the spare tire in a coupe. Also where the twist clips attach the carpet to cover the taillights and spare tire.

the spare tire mounts with a wingnut and a small circular metal piece. there isnt a "bracket". the carpet clips attach at 2 points below the hatch seal beside the 2 covers for the latches. sorry i dont have a pic, my car is at the shop at the moment. hope this helps.

 

Thanks, but I already know how it attaches. I just need a pic to reference where the long wing"bolt" anchors and where the tabs for the carpet clips are located. I'm attempting to alter my convertible trunk to allow for the spare to go in the tire well as it would in a coupe.

 

Can someone with a coupe please take a pic of the spare tire area, with the spare removed? I would really appreciate it.
