if you have an orange rx7 and want a black stripe, a black hood and a black grille then go to lowes and get some black spray paint and masking tape

^ Are you talking about this:

It's the Vielside Fortune Widebody FD3S. I wasn't aware that it was a Veilside specific paint job. You just want a two tone paint scheme.

i mean this with the best of intentions..
your car is already a hideous mess. please refrain from making it worse by painting black spots on it.
the fortune fd only barely pulls off that job and fc has no lines in common with an fd and certainly no stock phonedial wheel, higher than stock ride height orange and silver fc has any chance of pulling off the look.
paint the car one solid color. if you want to break it up then keep your s4 mouldings black. otherwise get a typical fiberglass body kit and maybe over fenders 30mm wide fenders and start to work on it.
im not saying dont dream

I'm trying to color coordinate things now so I'm trying to decide on paint before I go any further. I want to drop it and throw some 17s on it. So far I got about five grand in motor and tranny alone and pushing close to 400 hp. I'm going for why I bought the car handling and power. Any suggestions I am open to. Why I joined the club thanks guys

but thats here nor there
best mods for a standard base model s4 like yours is 5 lug conversion from gxl or t2/eq. then good shock spring combo or coilovers. then you can look at proper wheels and accessories and such.
with that particular vehicle, i would seriously consider removing all the intake stuff and getting a setup that will fit under a stock hood. or even selling your 5k$ setup and getting a 13b-re engine and t2 drivetrain and push similar hp but regain low center of gravity and polar moment which is why the fc is a good handling car.
then i would get a decent single stage paint job
add the stuff i listed earlier and enjoy it.
as is, its not very menacing looking and quite silly. the hood, the paint, the 14" wheels on 185 tires. who cares if you have 400hp.

for example
I wad going to go with an aftermarket limited slip assembly because I heard the the pin slides out and bust the case bit if this isn't the case the conversion will be cheaper than the dif
what? just get s4 t2 drivetrain and call it good.
you need smarter friends and possibly an english class. it takes on average 3 posts before anyone understands what you are trying to convey

Ok... I do have to agree that the fortune orange/black paint job won't work. But a good painter could figure out a good scheme for that... but IMHO....
If you are putting 400whp down... regardless if you go V8 or TII or whatever, you definitely need suspension... I don't think springs and shocks will cut it with that much power but then again, I haven't driven my car with that much power in over 2 years... =(... lol I would reccomend that you get the handling and drivetrain dailed in.
If you already have an aftermarket diff then you'll probably be alright, but I still agree that it will be a good idea to switch to the TII diff.
As far as suspension... I totally recommend coilovers. Even a cheap $800 set will do wonders with that much power. You really need to do some chassis stiffening as well. I can't stress how much people overlook this. With 400hp, you will need to go beyond just doing sway and tower bars. Those alone will make a huge difference, but eventually you should look in to some serious stiffening....
THAN IS UNLESS......
you are just going to be for show and never drag or track your car (or visit el toguenino) in which case... springs and shocks will get you by for just daily driving (probably be considerably more comfortable to boot). Then all that chassis money can go into your paintjob. I still have yet to see a two tone FC paint job that really caught my breath. The lines on the FC are so substantially beautiful on their own. So, one color is my call on that... but it is your car...=) and as long as it looks beautiful to you, then who cares....
k I'm done.....
