How the **** do you use the rear cargo straps?

 

lol.. I wondered the same thing when I got my car...

You take the square open piece and put it over the flat rectangular piece [you have to tilt and angle the rectangular piece] and then use the strap side that has the rectangular piece to tighten it down.
