I would rock the Version 4 for sure..you know, If you actually made it..then copied it and sold it.

But...The height of the wheels is somewhat unrealistic. There is nooo way you could get wheels to sit that high in the front of the FC without cutting out the whole upper strut and frame.

Then again from the rear shot, it doesn't look as high..just from the front.

Great concepts! Loving it, keep it coming! PLEASE!

Dltreezan 01-25-10 08:23 AM

why not make sure the top half of body line especially the door windows remain stock, as well as the hatch that way there is a real correlation..

Gregory Casimir 01-25-10 09:22 AM

i like the final sketch but like what dltreezan said, you could try to leave the top part of the car alone to retain some correlation to the car. But other then that it looks awesome. I really like the front end but I really wanna know how you would do the front wheel arches on the chassis?

getting closer, im pretty content with the rear and front so i believe there will not be any more changes to those items, maybe small ones if any. However the rear quarter panel still needs work but overall the transitions are coming along better and I have retained bodylines similar to stock (not exact).

Enjoy Version 4

as far as the rear end goes, i think that maybe this be a bit of an inspiration for you: 599xx
it has a more aggressive stance, and i think a similar rear, with similar lights to the pic you have posted, and it would really be a good match for that front end, which i am a very big fan of.

Actually it strikes me as a combo of the LFA and the Genesis Coupe.

interesting that you guys see a mix of LF-A ques in the sketch when the LF-A wasn't even part of my reference material. I cant even tell you what the LFA looks like without pulling pictures off the internet.

Nice, I like the Super GT look.

clint999 06-18-10 05:10 AM

Your absolutely right about softer edges, on many kits it takes away from the bodylines. My only argument with this is that GTC bodies typically have sharp edges to divert airflow to other chambers in the body to promote aerodynamics. The design i made was directly referenced to JGTC GT Touring, and Formula cars and obviously they don't have much soft edge fender lining. The look of the car isn't that big of a deal for me, its how well i can modify the flow of air around the car is where i was going with this design. Thanks for your input tho, If i were to market a kit it would have softer edges.

All I gotta say is your FC better have 700+ HP already before you do this...It'll be quite embarrasing if you still have 200. lol Maybe even 400 would still not be good.

NoPistons! 06-19-10 03:16 AM

I like the first version. If it ever came to be in real life i'd jizz myself all over again.

I hope you know that SuperGT cars have only a 300hp class and a 500hp class, and the RE-A Super FD has only a rating of 300hp.

Theres nothing retarded about having low power as long as all that output is being used efficiently and has stability.

So the only one being embarrassed is you because you fail to understand the dynamic of the build.
