please dont sell. some 17 year old idiot is going to buy it and ruin it. he will either wreck the car showing off or buy a bunch of autozone special jdm parts. please keep it. you never know if you save for a few more years it might make more money, thus making it easier to pay off your debt. beautiful car though

We understand that you have a Financial Crisis and want to get rid of it, but think about it before you purchase a Financial Disaster

Seriously, the higher price of the FD comes at the higher price of any and all parts you will need to buy, which will kill your pocket book.

wingsofwar and bunnybunny are spot on...fd's cost so much more to maintain then fc's....trust me, I know I own both....if I had the money I'd buy it because the condition its in and for what you get IMO 10K is a steal...GL either way

BEAUTIFUL. If I had the money now (working on the getting all the money thing...) i'd buy it in a heartbeat. That car is to gorgeous to be wasted. If I was the owner, i'd keep it too, you just don't see FCs that way anymore. Congrats on owning a such a gorgeous example of the FC, and I hope whoever puts up the money to buy it understands what a great car it is.
On second thought, if I had the money I wouldn't buy it. I really just want to drive my FC on weekends and track days, and I just couldn't put such a spotless car through the rigors of racing.

i had a white 89 TII with 70k original miles with a rebuilt engine, haltech e6k, full t4 turbo kit, RB exhaust, original glossy paint, springs/shocks/sways, basically every mod you could have for it, and the interior was just about as clean as yours, but was blue leather instead of black. made 360whp@15psi on the dyno.
it sold for 6500 bucks

The one thing all these cars have in common is the low mileage and bone stock mint condition, except one of the S4 88’s having a racing beat cat-back.
When enthusiasts restore American muscle cars, it is in their best interest to restore the car to factory condition. They know that if they restore them beyond factory condition, i.e. paint color that wasn’t original to the factories offering, wheels, an aftermarket motor……, the car will fetch a lower price at the auction.
Your RX-7, with all the mods, actually lowers the value of the car. Most of the time, modifications decrease the value due to the OEM parts being replaced are tossed out, therefore making the car incomplete from the OEM specifications.
The only way to modify your car and maintain the value is to add genuine Mazda additions, such as the Mazdaspeed exhaust, front and rear MS strut bars, S5 front lip spoiler, MS short shifter, etc.. But we all know those parts are not available anymore.
So my car Rei, having the most miles in the group, is going for less than the others.
Plus, if I sold the car for $6000, it is a pretty safe bet that it would fall into the wrong hands. This car is not the first RX-7 one should own, they should have a beater first, to learn what not to do and learn how to care for such a unique car.

WoW.
I wouldn't sell that if that was mine.
Not even to use the money for an FD
Keep it.
*let me edit this.
I also have an FD, so I kind of know what it's like.
I'd like to own your FC though. hmmmm...

I bet that car is not as clean in person. do you know why nobody bought it for $10K? 'Coz it's too much and it's not worth selling it at a low price, but nobody will buy it at that price. Keep it.
