I was so bored last night I decided to read this Epic thread.. Surprisingly I laughed a few times... The whole thing is humorous, the multiple failed rebuilds, the drama over the used waterpump... The cops, the neighbors...

Honestly you should have started a blog about it.. Very funny.. Your car is an engine slut, and looks like she gets ridden hard and put up wet.. The fact that you idled 3 tanks of gas trying to build compression.. Priceless...

just read this thread. You do know that there are detailed procedures in the service manual about checking and setting endplay right? and pineapple racing has a whole 10 minute video posted online about how to do it. Both explain how to choose the correct spacer. There's no secret to it.
