One of Square Sports demo/member's car. Just another small shop in Japan.

Super*Now's demo fc is fast! The car has a HKS sequential dog mission, knigh sports hybrid turbo w/ custom external wastegate, lots of one off parts, and lots of bolt-on Super Now products, lots of chassis reinforcement. THIS is a car to keep an eye on, if you're into time attack. It won't be long until they clock a 56 sec on TC2000.

and that's the ast. lots of fc's in Japan run fd water pump

If you don't know how to read Japanese, pictures speak a thousand words.

Interesting.

What advantages is a FD water pump have?
Just a bolt on procedure?

I'm guessing, its bigger, and able to 'bolt on' aftermarket A.S.Ts
and breather tanks

Strictly speaking, stock for stock its a bit of a downgrade.

Shitty (stock FD) impeller
Modding rad hoses

But it allows for use of better water pumps like the Mazmart version (mazmart version is similar to FC impellar design FYI) and also allows you to chuck the dual belt garbage and run the (better routed IMO) serpentine belt.

Or you can run the gilmer belt drives using the FC waterpump.
