Look - Primer Finally! with pics!
Its been long in the dueing but finally got some primer on her!
I have been working in this car for over a year now and I finally as of yesterday was ready Somewhat to put primer down!
My build thread features pictures from when i got the car until now! Please take a look and comment! I would really appreiciate it.

awww you molded the bodykit in =(
thats a big no no in my book. You can make it look good without resulting to making it permanent, most of the japanese cars dont mold their kits in. If the bodykit fit bad, correct the bodykit, dont make the car fit the bodykit lol.

Hypertek - Love the FC Gallery thread you got going! Some really nice cars in there!
I appreciate the comment and your opinion on my car - but is it just that, my car.
I really liked what I have done with it!
It may not be JDM or what ever but its still a RX7.
I built it to what I like not caring what others had said what was wrong with it because its just there opinion.
Honestly your opinion doesn't change my mind on what I should do with my car, or how I should modify it to make it "JDM".
I have had a lot of people say it ugly and hideous but not many saying "Good Job - its not my style but Great job on the time and work put into it"
Lol Anyways - Lets here some more comments!

^ can't drive a showcar is a bullshit line. I be the first one to tell you if I build something showcar or not I will drive it. Molded body panels can give a good look. it's really just a matter of OPINION. Btw I have seen tons of Japanese cars with molded kits.

the ride height of that white car is a testament as to it cant be driven, you cant go lower then that. People make sacrifices with quick removable body panels when needing to lift the car up or do maintenance repairs.
But besides that, credit is due for the good effort and work your putting into it.

Just ordered Prosport Oil Pressure, Oil Temp, and Water Temp gauges!

Nyrate sorry not trying to thread jack you, but this is needed really. Ok everyone not only are these real JDM cars but they a Track cars & yes the are molded. I just had to show that molded panels is nothing to be affraid of & some of the comments I see on these forums are based on opinions & not facts.

^ molding fenders on and molding front/rear bumpers are two different things. All of the cars you posted have nonmolded front/rear bumpers. I am sure Hypertek was talking mostly about the bumpers. Like to do a front mount intercooler on a fc. The easy way is with the bumper off. How do you do that with a molded bumper? Say there is a speed bump thats alittle too tall to just crawl over. What happens? all that hard work molding it in gets cracked intead of just breaking zip ties

I love the "trim" delete. I might have to steal that as i'm modifying my bn aero to fit now and since pulled all my trim and side indicators off.

I agree with hyperteck with sacrificing crisp looks for the ability to snap a few zip ties to get a jack under the car.
Shooting sparks from under your chassis and scrub marks on your fender is cool.
That's just my personal preference. I can appreciate a good car regardless of what i'd like to do it it vicariously through it's owner.
I can't stop staring at the front end on that car..... This thread should be nsfw.

Cant wait to see your car wen it get painted son.... I will be honest and say i own the white fc with molded kit.... Its going through a new build as we speak and it did suffer 4 cracks in 2 years.
2 one inch cracks where fender meets front bumper by headlights on both sides and it was stragely just the paint that cracked.
2 cracks on both sides where the rear bumper meets quarter panel... Now those were real cracks cuz i had my rear jacked up from changn clutch and i accidently twisted the jack handle too quick and slamd the car down .

03.06.2010 - 4 AM in the Morning - Been working 20Hrs on the car at that time. I was FILTHY - What a great night.
I have kicked my bumper a few good times and nothing is cracking - I think it will be ok for now - Eventually i will probably have to redo it
