I've never been to Chicago, but that definitely wouldn't be your daily driver in RI! Only Honda owners drive cars so low in New England. They don't care if they rip off half their bumper. It's somehow cool to them. I don't get it.

Here is my DD, I just turned a 170,000 miles the other day and I cant find any signs of a reman, and check out the pic of the factory pioneer stereo all lit up (cd player still works)/ .WINNING.<--- Just kidding, now watch my car not start in the morning bc im talkin ****.

I'm replying to my own post to add a little story (and also because I'm lame).
This morning I filled up my Insight for the first time since May after nearly 1000 miles of driving. But when I tried to open the fuel filler door, I found it to be seized shut. The release lever had rusted securely in place from disuse. I had to remove the door sill trim, pull back the carpet and find some penetrating oil to spray onto the mechanism. After a few minutes of rocking it back and forth, I was able to work it loose and fill up the car.
When I'm not driving the RX-7 or the Insight I'll be driving this:
48V, about 1000W and totally custom fabricated by myself.
And also often this (usually without the cart):

My daily, got pulled over for shooting flames on the freeway so I had to go back to toyota engine to get ref'd. meanwhile im planning on rebuilding and porting the rotary and slapping it back in after the BS clears
