oooh those are great pics of the tripoint in a steeet-setup. very cool.
I wonder if a lot of the tripoint fendered cars from back when the kit was new, I wonder if a lot of those cars have been wrecked, you dont see many pics or posts from owners, maybe they are mostly track cars now or wrecked, I dunno.
oooooooooooh TAMON DESIGN... some of their stuff is cool but some of it looks too choppy and body-kit-pontiac-style for me, but I would venture that tamon design full kit is pretty nice for full on high speed track use, it looks like functional aero to me as well as widening the stance.

DrKillJoy that damn FC is amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! wow!
Ricky Devil, wow man I have never seen that car before, I would love to see a pic of it without all the vinyl because its so hard to sort out the lines of the body now. oh man, I love those work wheels, cowabunga!

The Firestarter
the lip on that FC is wicked, and if that were not enough they put canards and diffusers on it! but i dunno how i feel about the 99spec combo lights retrofitted on. Almost looks like those are the headlights (or it could actually be wired up that way).

the more I look over the Tamon Design stuff the more I get used to it but man it is so drastic how it changes the lines of the car, if youre not running time trials and topspeed runs then it is totally overkill and wont look right unless the car is so low you cant drive it on the street.
pretty wild for a time attack car though, I love how the FC can still be made to perform with the best of them.

I dont really like that 99 front end on an FC too much but the car above, overall is so damned amazing, that I would never complain about something so trivial.
I do like how the TEC-ARTs car used the 99 spec lights as a vent and blended the lights into the bumper very nicely, they sit almost flush and that looks a lot nicer and more modern than the FTPs.
Also, removing the sunken and rectangular old school parking lights brings the whole front end some new appeal to me. thats a very nice setup now that I look at it some more.
I wonder if the Tamon Design stuff will ever be available in the US (at competitive prices)?
I love a clean widebody and it sure seems to help drum up new interest in FCs and keeps them alive and fresh year after year, I mean hey my car is over 20 years old, but its a monster, in a good way.

haha, have you priced it out yet? IIRC thats over twice as much as most other kits. I also think the AWR kit changes the lines of the FC a lot, removing the sidemoulding and changing the shoulders over the fenders, its a really weird effect. I think it looks good just because of the overall setup on that specific race car, but hey thats IMHO.
also, spotted on ebay, raceonusa just re-released the tripoint replicas as the 338 kit.
