I felt similar the last months,...I nearly sold my FC for a miata.
Today I drove my fc, but it was fun again for some reason, I couldn't enjoy driving it for a long time,...I always was pissed because I wanted to have fun, but in the end I had no fun and I was wasting money on gas.
and gas is about 6.5$/gallon here.
kinda hard to accept that a 200hp rotary drinks as much gas as a 300+hp V8 : /

I still want a miata, but I think I'll keep the FC after all.

 

yeah man just keep the 7... its hard to let go. i dont know what it is? when i got into my accident about 2 years ago, i wanted to sell that thing and move on. Decided to just deal with it, i'm happy now. She looks even more bad ***.

miata's are fun, but it doesnt hit the spot for me.

...trying having your new girlfriend in the car when the motor blows! talk about a love hate relationship! I REALLY REALLY HATED the FC then, and in the mornings....but I sure do love the sleek look, the loud sound of a straight pipe all the way to borla tips, the racing beat header makes a great upgrade- that auto to 5 speed was the shiznit and when people ride my *** and I just drop to third, dump the clutch and pop some flames and they back off like 6 to 7 car lengths.....I LOVE THE FC!

 

ok ok update my fc has gas in it and running is there any way to find out how much gas milage it got cuz i get horrible gas mileage like in sanely horrible anybody know wat there mileage was?

I love my seven, and hate it everytime it breaks. Thats just how it works. I could never get rid of it though, the thought of working on a different car just weirds me out. Plus I know its tricks now.

oh man i feel u man.. im on my 4th motor already. There was many times When iwas still in high school my car wouldnt start and i would call all my friends to give me a push start over and over till it actualy started then all this smoke would come out magicaly.Then moar moar problems....Irmeebr iran out of gas cuz my clusters gas gauge didnt work, my frien din his bike had to pull over and help me push to a gas station in amiddle of abusy intersection...it was embarrasing. The other times i had my friend push my car up ahill with their SUV.. So many time i just wanted to give up, and ppl telling me to get a 240...Then my ex gf fighting me about that i put too much time on the car and parents too.. its a tough relationship !!!!!But when u drive it when it runs right, I feel like im at peace.

 

its either gf or the fc....its hard to maintain both!!! but my new gf, seems to like my car, and suports it..im luky!

 

^lucky.. with my s13 back in hs.. a few times at school id park where there was a incline so i could roll start myself.. lol.. my old driveway had a decline so id roll start it in the morning.... I used to go to the mall and park in the structure so i could roll it down to start it hahhahahhahahahaha!!!

my old 190e had a charging problem and the battery would die, so at work id wait til everyone was gone and push my car and run to the seat and try to clutch start it hahahhaha

Ive only driven a few cars, my fc is fine for me only if I cruise. Thing I hate is when you have a lead foot day and just speed around sub streets, and then your needle is down a cm more from like 15 mins of driving

 

i know what you mean...im so used to driving my 87 nissan hardbody with no power and im almost full throtle just to drive and when my seven is running i have to restrain myself to push only so much on the throtle or else id be getting speeding tickets all day and an empty gas tank haha
