ive been talked to by a couple cops on the road at red lights about how loud my car is. told em the turbo has to breathe. havent got noise tickets but ive been complained on to the cops in neigehborhoods and stuff. only got 1 speeding ticket. 70 in a 35. he only wrote it for 1-9 over. super lucky. went to court. got sadisco.

 

none so far, I live in a "country" city Sioux Falls SD. Cops are real "Stiffs" out here, only had a couple stares at my car and wondering why it was smoking (to much premix not enough fuel). My luck would be right after typing this, I end up getting a ticket. "Better Knock On Wood!"

 

I feel retarded for the 2 tickets I've gotten in my 7, and one was a complete mistake, I missed a speed trap in an unfamiliar area while looking for turn, jerk gave me a ticket anyhow, other I deserved...........but I don't understand how you can manage to lose your liscense TWICE or get 20+ tickets in a lifetime, much less 9 years, I have gotten pulled over 4 times total in over 8 years of driving but sadly gotten a ticket each time :/ for some reason I don't get warnings like my sisters, ha

 

Once, for blowing through a red light. Wasn't paying attention.

 

i got pulled over once for speeding but got a warning because the cop said " im a nice guy so your lucky,any of the other guys on the shift would have nailed you but im a nice guy so your welcome" i was going 104km in town lol (speedlimit is 50km)

i had a cop come to my house about my n/a with straight pipe. neighbours been calling in. he threatened me with inspection but i didnt care because i swapped engines into a different color shell the next week.

 

Well I got pulled over 3 times in the first week of having my fc. First time i was doing 80k's in a 60 zone and threw it into a left corner, had a cop come up behind me and check my brake lights then ask me if the car was a v8, and let me off lol.

The second time I actually got a ticket, was 3am no other cars around but my mates car next to me so i launched it hard, and out of nowhere comes a cop car, he didnt even have to put the lights on i just pulled over and waited for him, he coulda had my car towed but instead gave me the smallest possible fine cause i had just pulled over and been honest with him.

The third time was pretty funny, I came through an intersection and was giving it a little, I honestly didnt expect the back end to step out but it did and i somehow managed not to loose it and pulled off a nice little drift threw 3 lanes, went through the maccas drive through came out of the carpark and an undercover cop had been waiting for me. I thought i was screwed as he was yelling at me to get out of the car and such, I told him it was an accident and i didnt mean for it to happen. somehow he goes and looks at my tyres and goes "these are sticky tyres, no way this thing is gonna slide unless your giving it some" I didnt even know they were supposed to be sticky tyres, anyway after yelling at me and such, he just lets me go no tickets nothing. Was strange

 

2 times. i was speeding then he let me off witha warning. then after that he gets suspicious of my exhaust. dual apexi N1 tips -.-. i told him why exactly they were illegal. he hesitates and says "there just not the original pipes that come with these cars. writes a BS fix-it-ticket.

 

81 1st gen= no tickets
86 2nd gen turbo2 = no tickets
99 mustang GT = 7 speeding tickets LOL/ all tickets are all on the freeway.
can we say im getting profiled?? solution sold the mustang !

My buddy was in his 240sx (sr20det) and I in my s4 n/a practicing J-turns out on a vacant highway one night. We finish up, and about 1/8 mile down the road heading into town there was a HiPo. He pulled out behind us and followed us all the way through town, then kept going once we turned in at my house.

Just goes to prove that not all cops are dicks.

 

2 for me. One speeding and one "careless driving"

 

Pulled over 3 times, one ticket, one written warning, and one verbal warning.

First timed pulled over in the rx7 (first ticket ever) There is a stop sign Less than 100 feet from my driveway and i was having idle issues so i would roll up to it, look, and then take off. I see it everyday, no one stops completely, EVER. It was late/wet outside and a buddy wanted me to come to a titty bar so.. yeah. I accel to the speed limit of 55 and i notice headlights coming up fast and tailgating me. So i speed up to 60, then 65, still tailgating. This happens for over a mile.

Le douche hits the lights and pulls me over. Its a pimple covered deputy asking me why i went through the stop sign and was speeding. I say idle issues and you were tailgating me. He says that i was accelerating too fast and he was doing 80 (with out the blues and two's) to catch up to me... right... so he goes back a writes up a ticket. 150 bucks and my insureance goes up double... my perfect record ruined... thanks.

Second time I was doing 70 in a 55, no traffic, reading a map so i wasnt paying attention at all, tell him that and said sorry and lets me go.

Third was another stop sign fail in a trailer park late at night, had a friend with some pull to call up and have his cop friend tell the idiot to turn his lights off because his grandparents are epileptic(very true, and the cop was asked to turn them off before having to call in). Writes me a warning and then leaves. Jack off.

 

um only ticket in a 7 was when I wrecked my first turbo II...


Cops don't even look twice at me in the FC, must assume I'm some older guy lol. However when I drive a honda they hate me. Its not like I drive stupid, I'm a respectable driver.

 

1 speeding ticket and 3 or 4 noise and illegal mod tickets

 

1 carpool lane ticket driving back from SS 09.
and littering ticket for throwing a cig out the window but they guy in front of me runs a red light. god i hate motorcycle cops.

 

been stopped a few times for not properly displaying my front license plate. have yet to get stopped for loud *** exhaust or anything else. my girl however has been pulled over twice and ticketed once for speeding in my 7

 

i have my front license plate on hinges. im suprised they havent pulled me over for that

 

At least 10 speeding tickets between age 18 and 22. None since.

 

speeding/ improper parking/ improper passing/expired tag/ no insurance info/driving while suspended. all over 2 years ago. only one speeding ticket in the last year. inaccurate speed guage was fixed and thrown out.

Not like it would matter. RI went super gay recently and now I can't get any leniency on inspections... So everything must be in 100%. Basically making me have to buy a new car when the company pickup inspection runs out because nothing I own will pass or is with making pass.

Good thing they don't pull registrations on bikes for not getting them inspected! Yet.

 

None. My car isn't very loud under normal driving conditions (some kind of Racing Beat-esque exhaust) and I usually don't drive too crazy (especially now that gas is $4+ a gallon).

 

Make the right friends and it will "pass"

 

I've had the right friends (and used them every time) for 8 years. Now all of a sudden no one wants to be my sticker friend for fear of getting screwed. It's ridiculous.

 

Like 4 actual tickets... one 61 in a 35 going by my friends house stepped into it going down a slight hill. Guilty as charged didn't argue just went on with my business. No front plate (twice) damn you new york! Window tint (utica has a no tolerance law I had no idea... really! Cop was shot through a tinted window apparently so I understand.)

Got off with a good one last summer. 84 clocked in a 55 but cop was so interested in seeing a clean rx7 vert since he owned one in 94. Then began to look at the car. Registered as an 88 but really a 89! Oops I owned both 88 was rusted bad (damn new york again!) And had clean paper work. 89 salvage title from theft and gave me a super hard time so swapped paper work, made as legal as possible with vins and everything and have all titles and paper work for both. Cop noticed and as he was about to let me off said whys the vin part black and the rest of the dash blue I said I got it that way starting to smile. He said ok and as he said I could go commented nice S5 vert and smiled. I said umm ya thanks and smiled coolest cop and knew his **** about mazdas in general. I only own mazdas and he pulled my car report saw the 2 7's and the 8 and the speed3 I just bought.
