GREENMAN! wtf! why'd you do such a thing? i thought we were finally gonna chill at sevenstock 13 this year?
looks like we're no longer rotary buddies anymore. *sigh*
at least you got a more "reliable" car with better gas mileage. that's always a plus.
good luck with the camry! i too feel like i need a better car than the FC sometimes...

alright, alright, alright, enough.
She got rid of the car, and they crushed it. What are we going to accomplish pissing. moaning, and throwing **** at each other like monkeys? The car is gone now.
Move on.

Maybe you are right, maybe it's time to move on. The only thing is the decision is not yours. It's sad, but the truth is that people catch **** for far less on this forum. Monkeys throwing **** at one another can prove to be amusing, so my susgestion to you is grab a bag of pop corn, relax & enjoy.

Ok lets say the Camry is a great car , what wrong with holding on to the 7? I have all but one of my 7's still & I have owned 5 other non 7's during this time period. Hey I'm all for buying a new vehicle, but to cash for clunker a decent looking 7 to get it, I'm not with that at all.

One thing I don't miss about the 7 was that the A/C blew out TOO cold no matter what I did it would give me a headache and chills. The camry has a nice adjustable climate control you can change what temperature you want the air to blow out at, so I don't get migraines driving to work and school in the summer anymore.

Too old for this
+1
Considering I've seen nice TII's go for 8k on Craigslist around here, someone either didn't do their homework, or was on the time of the month and felt like being purely spiteful.
If you crushed a TII for a Camry, GTFO over to the camry forums.

^ Winner. The FS link she posted was from this spring. Cash for clunkers was last summer. Some dealers around me have been doing a extended "clunker" program on their own but they just knock the 3500/4500 off the sticker and then sell the cars at auction like every other trade in. If she did trade it in to the dealer as a "clunker" she may have gotten $4500 off the sticker price of the car but the dealer doesn't have to scrap the car since it wouldn't be dealing with the govt on this transaction. She probably could have haggled the price down around the "clunker" price with out the trade in and then sold the rx7 private party and come out ahead.
