this is what I got instead though (not exact picture but it looks identical to mine) now I get about 35mpg on the freeway

 

How much did they give you for it as a clunker? $3k? If so, why didn't you just sell it for $3k?

Theres nothing stupid about 35mpg. My T2 was getting 14mpg if I was lucky.

You could have kept your 7, taken out a loan for 5-6 grand and bought a low mileage, late 90s civic/sentra/whatever and then you would have a reliable car with good mpg as a DD and not be in a **** ton of debt. And you wouldn't be driving around in a grandma car, thats just embarrassing...

My boyfriend thinks the Camry is more comfortable for driving around town so that was also a factor.
