woah fc.. that sucks..
well looks like he has some drags on it.. he should have known better, now he paid the ultimate price.

Always reminds me that we should pay attention and be aware of the people we ride with... Its tough esp when you ride in your friends car, and occasionally we all have friends who from time to time like to zip along...

Poor kids, that fear will stick with them for a long time. Another example of some dumb *** FC owner out to prove something(slicks obviously trying to state something). Just too damn sad that there had to be loss of life.

At least the children are alive.

stuff like this keep pushing me further to quit racing all together....

Another fc puts a bad name to our cars. I doubt he was a good boy with those slicks on.

This thread should be autolinked to any current and future "should I use slicks on the street?" thread.

That's right kiddies, even doing 80 is enough to kill you if you have slicks or DOT R-Compound tires that can't get enough heat in them. Then again, you should never be doing 80 on local roads.

On another note, is it so hard to say 7 in a news report?

**** thats sooo horrible to hear. thank fully the kids are okay. and like stated ealier. sad to say although the FC but that makes us look bad. guilty by association. people have got to realize the consequences of there actions. and why would you be using slicks on the street. if your going to be driving, you must make sure your car has the proper set up for daily use/track/ drag, etc..

theyre mistake/joyride cost them theyre life. Rip. hope other people who get on the forum see this and realize, you have to be careful when your out in the streets. not only do you put yourself in danger, but every one around you..

thats why we have Tracks and other places to go drive at.

just my 2 cents.

That was my main intention for posting this.
I was a little skepical about showing this to everyone else since the driver and passenger lost their lives. I just don't want to see some ignorant post like "they got what they deserved". Regardless of their poor choices yesterday, they won't be going home to their famalies today.

Please everyone have some respect for the victims and their famalies.

when they say "newer" car you think they are referring to it as a newer year car or the kids just got it so its new to them.

slicks can be scary, especially here in colorado, on fire bird, in the middle of a snowstorm.
scariest time i ever had in a car, luckily it was like 4am and no one comes out of their homes that early in a snowstorm here.

but yeah, there are people that do their "street" racing under controlled situations where no is put at risk except themselves. sucks that kids like those two help ruin that.

slicks on the front = auto fail.

Yeah it sucks they died but the driver should have known better to not use race tires on the street.

I watch everything around me when I drive the 7. I worry about others most of all. Never been in an accident, dont need to anytime soon. The more we say it (keep it on the track), the more people hear it.

Why do you worry about others most of all?

I watch everything around me and worry about myself and my precious FC.

I lost count of how many times I've almost been rear ended and such.

These two were just idiots.

For some reason people feel really aggressive when they drive fcs.

R.I.P. to those young drivers.
