It seems like I've seen this before... I want to get rid of the pop-ups. I love them but I'm trying to lighten the car up and I know the motors are pretty heavy.

It seems like I saw someone that just cut out the area from the FTP lenses to the top of the bumper. Anyone have pics or a reason why this is stupid and I shouldn't do it?

By the way, it's just a beat up s4 project so it's not like I'd be ruining anything too nice.
