Ghetto Fab Air Dam

Ghetto Fab Air Dam
I got the idea from Project Car magazine. They did this and some kind of plywood splitter on one of their sentra SE-R's. Thought the idea was kind of cool, so I decided to try it out. Lowes sells aluminum strips like this for around $20, so it's really cheap... in case it rips off on a speed bump.
I'm kind of hoping it'll help with airflow into intercooler, and hopefully enough to my radiator and oil cooler to where I won't need to upgrade them. Hopefully...

have you driven the car yet? I bet it will end up running hot like mine does, well alot warmer then I would like it to.
On my last bumper I cut the middle completly out and it was a night and day difference in the engine and inlet temps because now the undertray had a clear air path.
On my new bumper I tried not to cut it, instead put 2 slots in the bumper, but I drove the car for the first time today with this new bumper and the temps slowly rise, so instead of chopping the whole middle out I did it a little different, but it started to rain and I could not get a good picture of what I did.

Thanks!
As for airflow, I'm a little worried still. I'm still waiting for parts so I can finally start this thing up, but I just don't know if I'm going to get enough air to my radiator.
I'm trying to maintain as much stock look as possible, which is why I painted the IC flat black to try and hide it as much as I can. Hell, that's the whole reason why I went to a FMIC anyways, is so I didn't have to have the TII hood! The lip, I think, just looks good, and can be a functional piece on any car, which is why I went ahead and made it. Anyone got any ideas on how to get some airflow without cutting the bumper? I just can't stand the look.
How about my idea of making an aluminum undercar duct? Would that work?

the duct needs to direct air into the undertray.
I tried to get pics of my new set up, but they come out looking like a stock bumper. Im very happy with my new set up compared to my old one.
Maybe on a sunny day I can try to get a picture, but it photos like a stock bumper because my car is black, but it looks like some crazy add on spoiler thing in the opening.
I drove the car today and the car runs 10000% cooler and different then it did before I cut the bumper. Extend the undertray into your air dam, make the center of the dam open to direct the air flow.
