General Maint.

I just bought my second TII RX-7 and never had one with over 100K so i wanted to make sure i do everything right and dont step over any boundaries. With the engine having 134K miles, is it safe to switch to Synthetic oils like Mobil, Lucas or Royal Purple? The previous owner used K&N oil Filters so im going to stick with that. Another, Should i keep the cooling system flushed and cleaned on like a 3 oil change basis? Any other tricks that you have would be extremely helpful, i want to keep this 7 alive as long as possible.

here is what I have always done when I daily drove the car, now I tend to change things far too often because the car tends to sit

regular oil changed twice a year, I put less then 1500 miles on my car, when I drove it daily I changed it every 2000 miles

drain coolant every year, installed new OEM thermostat, only flushed when I first got the car.
changed plugs every year, used stock plugs
changed wires every 3rd year

fuel filter by mileage, I think it worked out to be about every other year for me

rear end fluid- if you do not know when it was changed you may want to change it, I use synthetic in my rear now but that is because I rebuilt the entire rear, otherwise I would not use it.

trans fluid- same as above

belts and hoses are discretionary items

some feel if the fluids have been in the rear and trans for so long it might be best to leave them be

ok i am remixing right now so synthetic is ok! Awesome since i already bought the oil and remember that this isnt a ordinary turbo car im used to having lol. The plugs are part of the next maint. depending on how bad they look when i pull them out. If there good then there getting cleaned and stuffed back in there since there 10bucks a plug.
