do it once and your realize it's not a big deal. I'm at the point now where if i blow my motor at the track. I'll have it rebuilt for next weekend.
i don't usually spend more then 500-700$ per motor. and each of these last two motors have lasted me two seasons.

You guys don't seem to understand what he is getting at, his FC hasn't been running (low funds by the sound of it), finnally gets the car running, then he finds out he can't drive it and it needs a rebuild (again, he has to wait more time to collect funds). Its never fun having a car/your fun car not running, doesn't matter what you are doing to it.
That blows man, hope you get it up and running soon, GL with the rebuild.

I feel your pain; sort of.
Its been eight months since I drove my fc, and I finally get my engine dropped in and start it up.
Couldn't get into any gear and all the hyrdralics were working.
Hoping the clutch is to blame... but my tranny was acting funny before the engine finally gave up.
But just look forward to having a rebuilt/reliable engine.

To the OP: You should just pull it apart being very careful to keep the seals where they are and not break anything and just put in new coolant o-rings. That is if it doesn't have too many miles.
I wish i had done this on my original motor, but I did complete rebuild. I know people are going to disagree, but it seems like when the coolant o-rings go we replace everything. (expensive)
With piston engines it's just a headgasket. It would only cost you a few bux, and some time and then you could save up for a full rebuild when the motor is toast or eats an apex seal. Just curious how far it would go if you didn't replace any seals other than the o-rings.
Good luck!
