Looks nice!
Always satisfying when you replace something as big/important as your vert top!

A nice wash would make it look real clean. Nice work. Kinda reminds me how I felt putting a non-rusted hatch on my FC. Felt great.

Morning!

Thanks guys. Took my dad 5.5 hours to get it all done thanks to the manual not stating that we need to remove the metal strip from the old top and place it on the new one.

I ordered 303 protectant today and I'll get her washed up tomorrow and have a fresh pic up.

Hi again.

As a side note, I noticed that it doesnt close yet, probably due to tightness. I saw on here about loosening some clamps thus allowing the top to close but I'm not sure what was being referenced?

there is a jamb nut by the latches, if you loosen the nut you can then turn the latch to adjust it

Nice job!

My white '88 vert still has the original top, but surely could use a new one. I'm the original owner and I've been fixing and adding performance mods for the past 5-6 years. Since the top is down 90% of the time, it hasn't been a high priority, but *soon*.

Where did you get yours and what is the brand?

You mean on the latches on the hard top portion?

So I noticed this morning that the bolts along the top as it attaches to the car had torque amounts? Why is that? I might need to double check mine.
